Cool, don't give a shit about UConns coach, BC's imaginary national titles, or the basketball program. Dan Hurley is a functional moron.

Blessed be the post scorekeepers on a defunct message board. May they enter the kingdom irrelevant.

I’m not sure Dan Hurley would have significant success at BC either. UConn is built and funded to win in one sport in particular and is an ambitious program. BC has no identity in the two major sports anymore and it almost doesn’t matter that they are a dominant presence in hockey

while i would love for our program to have to worry about the lakers poaching our coach after back to back championships, the 7 stages of grief is a fun read:

This just proves his point further though. Anyone who leaves a situation that good to go coach for a coach killer needs to have their head examined

I think they misspelled Pitino. Dude is a functional moron and we will see it soon. Too bad BC didn't land him though, we'd have 5 national titles.

Credit where credit is due. His stupidity already has been displayed. He turned down the Lakers 6-year, $70mm offer.

Looks like BC has a new assistant from FSU.

Used to work with Grant at Clemson.

I found out today that Danny Hurley’s wife blew one of my buddies in front of a room full of people at the summer share we had back in the day in Manasquan. Recipient was BC class of 97 and was apparently cheered on by a motley collection of BC, Nova and Scranton idiots. I am told she was not particularly attractive back then and has grown less so with time, but scored points for enthusiasm.

Even worse it would have been a 2 year 70mm offer

Who would be a legitimate candidate? Sam Cassel? Bruce Pearl?

I feel historically they pick the "hot" candidate who just did well in the NCAA tournament (Al, Donanue, Earl)...

The Don was definitely THE hot candidate. Al was not a "hot" candidate, he was hired in reaction to JOB's lawsuit.

Jim Christian still boggles the mind.

Earl Grant was definitely not the "hot" candidate when he got hired. He has 1 NCAA tournament appearance and lost in the round of 64 and that was in 2018.

Grant has 4 years left on his contract (after this season). Doubtful BC pulls the trigger with that much time left but this season is a disaster especially in the worst ACC of all time. :ace

checking in at #201, BC is the lowest ranked high-major conference team in the KenPom rankings. This is about as bad as it gets.

Secondary market tickets for the Duke game are at an average of $248, beating the average Celtics secondary market ticket prices by like $30. BC fans are opening up their wallets and turning out (must be, right?)

Curious to know how many cars parked in the lot at Conte Forum have Maine license plates vs the number of cars with North Carolina plates.
