The Don was definitely THE hot candidate. Al was not a "hot" candidate, he was hired in reaction to JOB's lawsuit.
Jim Christian still boggles the mind.
Earl Grant was definitely not the "hot" candidate when he got hired. He has 1 NCAA tournament appearance and lost in the round of 64 and that was in 2018.
Grant has 4 years left on his contract (after this season). Doubtful BC pulls the trigger with that much time left but this season is a disaster especially in the worst ACC of all time.
