96 teams is beyond ridiculous and will ruin the tournament for me. 13 fucking Big east teams would have made it this year if it was 96. Talk about making the regular season meaningless. Plus all the fun arguments about who is in and who is out for a month leading up to selection sunday would be gone. I have those arguments all the time but its just stupid to fight over whether a team thats right around .500 and sub .500 in conference should be in. This is one of the worst ideas I've ever heard.
