HE Fans-Help Butler win the Hobey

Hockey East only has 2 players in the 10 selected finalists. Fans are involved in selecting the three finalists by March 31. As a Senior, HE POY and Nation's top goal scorer, I think Butler is the best chance for HE to win the Hobey Baker. Please go to:

There is no BC player up for the award. UNH is a rival but they are in HE. I would rather have a HE guy win it rather than from one of the other conferences. Now, if he were a BU guy then I would probably still support him as a HE guy but I would have to swallow harder to do it since BU is a hated rival. Anyway, I hope you will consider voting for him.

Butler is an AMERICAN from MASS.and he is a senior. The RPI guy, Polecek, is a junior from Minnesota. the other two guys near the top are from Canada (Geofferion, "Boob Boom's grandson) and Sweden Nyquist who is a sophomore. Foreigners shouldn't win the Hobey IMO.Let's have an American from New England that's a senior win it. Go Butler. Thanks.

it does not say anything about being a senior, or about being from Mass., or about being from America, or about being from North America.

I really hoped one of you guys Atkinson/Gibbons might make the cut, but maybe next year. As far as Butler goes I really don’t care enough to vote for him, he hasn’t impressed me enough to vote for him

We didn't offer him. Harvard did offer him but he didn't want to play in the Ivy League. Butler was pretty average until this year. Maybe that's why York et al passed on him. He's a late bloomer.

I dont want to give any an excuse to choose UNH or any other school. Would you root for a BU kid to win the award?

This isnt football where are fortunes rise and fall with the conference, we are an elite hockey school and it doesnt matter what UNH does.
