Commits/Recruiting

Postby DuchesneEast on Sun Sep 06, 2009 7:01 am

I know we are primarily football wierdos but we need to build:

2010 Commitment List:
Brady Heslip 6'2 PG from NH
Kevin Noreen 6'10 SF from MN

Noreen allegedly upgraded, what the hell is Al doing, I thought he only went for under the radar types.

They need Odom and if you listent to Cam85, he's not coming to BC. I have to think that Coach Handsome will turn it up a notch this month to try and secure this kid.

If you listen to Addict, BC's the leader. I'll listen to the guy with a pretty good track record on good information over the guy who has an axe to grind with Skinner because he doesn't take all teh awesomest Mass recruits.

Oh I agree with you. I put no faith in what that assclown says. Tweezie is another guy that usually posts accurate information and a couple of months ago he thought that BC was a leader.

I doubt Odom will be an Eagle. The more and more I hear from the guy (via people on EI) the more I think he is G'Tech bound. Think about it. He says he's commiting in late September... our visit is October 3rd. From what I hear Vandy and G'Tech are the leaders.

You are just not listening to the right guys. The one reliable source over there still maintains that BC is the leader with Odom.

This hopefully will be a great class and i cant believe skinner is going for some talent that other people notice. Rod Odom has made indictations about many other schools but none since january about BC. i cant imagine we are still the leader for him but i hope we are. noreen is still growing and heslip and shoot anyday all day from anywhere. I know. if we can get a true center and odom this will be a better class than the fab 5 of 07

My cousin runs a site, realcollegebasketball.com, and he has contacted a reliable source close enough to odom to know that BC is still the leader.

Thats very good news from a reliable source. He is the key to our.... yes national championship hopes in 2012. dont say its not possible because we have a great team this year thats just going to get one year older. So far every player has excluded early entry to the draft

That would be a huge commit. This could be a very dangerous team in two years...I trink we'll be better next year than last but we could make some big time noise in 2010-11

I don't know. I think 2011-2012 could be good too. That's Jackson's senior year (not to mention Ravenel and co.) and plus Heslip and Noreen and possibly Odom will have an extra year of experience under their belt. This could be the start of yet another fantastic decade. Al is doing his job well right now. So shut the fuck up OJ.

EDIT HINDSIGHT: I was wrong!!!1!!!

Yeah if Odom can come here he'll have a great career. thats if he lives up to the hype coming out of high school. to me he seems like a very confident kid whos had things handed to him with a silver spoon since arriving at Middlesex as a freshman. Lets see if he does come... how he does with Skinners tough love additude

The Noreen commit now seems to be in question. There are reports that he's looking at Colorado State. I'm not sure what to make of the situation. Also, Michael Bradley, is coming in for an official during the FSU football weekend. Perhaps these events are related?

Meanwhile, Minnesota Transitions' 6-9 Kevin Noreen, who was thought headed for Boston College, has expressed interest in Colorado State, which last weekend received a commitment from Cloquet's 6-10 Chad Calcaterra. www.twincities.com/sports/ci_13344815?nclick_check=

This was part of an article on Chad Calcaterra. Another poster says that the reason isn't distance as others have speculated.

That would suck balls if Noreen backs out of his verbal commitment. Maybe he's more inclined to stick with BC if Odom signs on?
