Free red bandanas at the gate would certainly help the crowd get more into the game. :vader

Clemson hangover has been pretty powerful for the last few years. It’s there if we play well

If Jurk doesn’t figure out a way to be more accurate, we are in deep trouble, as I Don’t see BC’s D stopping them much.

Feels like ND 41- BC 20.

Both teams have tendency to play to level of competition. Game will be close for much of it.

Key to victory IMO:

1) Get the lead - ND has had the lead at halftime in every game. Gives them confidence to call plays leaning on their awesome OL and the powerful run game throughout. Take them away from that comfort zone. Make them start throwing more than they want to.

2) Use Zay and Jaelin in space - ND can be exposed for poor tackling. Design plays to make them tackle ideally Zay, but sometimes Jaelen - in space.

You do these things, you can eventually win the game with 1x1 opportunity against their corners with any of our WR's. Assuming Jurk has fixed whatever ails him by then.

When we didn't receive a sufficiently educational life lesson from Clemson, it really screwed us over. The rest of the season is likely a lost cause.

I think the keys to victory are (a) turnovers and (b) a monster play by special teams or a defensive TD. We aren’t going to be able to go toe-to-toe. But, another 97-yard scoop-and-score is a 14 point swing. Those are the types of plays that make an upset possible.

now in the street there is violence
and, and a lots of work to be done
no place to hang out our washing
and, and i can't blame all on the sun

I assume we're wearing those horrible red bandana jerseys, but if it forces ND to wear their slippery green jerseys then we might have a shot in this one.

I like the jerseys but wish we'd wear our regular uniforms for this one.

Turnovers are the only thing that might save us here. Otherwise we are going to be gashed in the running game and Jurk is going to get pummeled behind our shitty offensive line.

The uniforms are amazing, but it's silly to be hosting the Red Bandanna game months after the 9/11 anniversary. It should be the game closest to it every year.

No. Playing Texas State or UMASS in the bandanna game is dumb. It should be the biggest home game on the schedule.

The biggest home game of the year is already the biggest home game of the year. Honor Welles and the sacrifice he made on 9/11 by making the tribute then, the tribute is about him not football. At the very least, don't do it in November.... it could have been UNC.

There are other avenues where we can make cool uniforms and get hyped up for big games if that is being treated as the priority.
