Guess he's not a BC guy.
He is announcing tomorrow. Pretty sure BC still wants him.
Pretty sure he is going to Michigan to join the rest of the Mass players on the bench of an 8-4 Harbaugh squad. Will be interesting if any stay on once Third Down Donnie Brown is fired (something Wolverine fans think is long overdue).
HJS {l Wrote}:As predicted... Michigan fans are not happy with recruiting (or Don Brown's desire to remake Wolverine's program in the image of Umass).

Outside the top-500 now, but expect the “Michigan Bump” soon, if you care that much about that stuff.
WELCOME!

All of these kids are picking Michigan for Michigan. It has nothing to do with playing under Third Down. If Don Brown was at Pittsburgh or Rutgers, Daz/Hafley wouldn’t lose a single kid. But, because he is at a factory, these kids are willing to jump. Where Wolverine fans are rightly concerned is that Donnie B is indiscriminately offering a bunch of kids from New England that Michigan would never even sniff under any other administration. It may payoff with Kwity Paye or Drew Kendall, but factories can always just show up and steal kids. Georgia didn’t have to offer a bunch of Massholes to convince Hyphen Tight End he’d be comfortable in Athens.
Again... this hurts BC much more than it helps Michigan. And, it also ultimately hurts long term Mass HS football (which has been dying on the vine), because there is an absence of continuity and regional pride associated with local kids making a name at local colleges.
Eaglekeeper {l Wrote}:These local recruits are top 500 kids and DB is selling them on Michigan. His New England connections are making a difference, but I don’t see this as a long term problem. I expect that Hafley will be very successful on the field and it will show in recruiting. I don’t see Kendall anywhere but BC and I think there is a chance BC flips one or more of these local recruits back from Michigan. Haubaugh can’t last more than 1-2 years if he keeps losing to tOSU. These recruits are making a huge mistake by going to Michigan with an almost certain coaching change happening before they get a chance to get on the field.
Go Eagles!
ATLeagle {l Wrote}:Ryan Day knows these programs as well as Brown and he is not bothering with mid-level Mass kids. Harbaugh is letting Brown ruin his roster depth.

Small sample size but some really nice DBs in this class for BC. If he committed we'd have 3 DBs with major P5 interest.
