If Clemson wakes up they get back in very easily.

We don’t need a bunch of out of touch dopes deciding 100% of the field

Just stupid.
BC isn’t making the playoff. So far, only 10 programs have. Expanding it to 8 teams is idiotic. First, this would mandate a spot for a non-Power 5 school (which is ridiculous). The rest of the additional spots will go to the SEC, B10 and ND (in years they don’t play anyone). So... great idea... let’s expand it so that there are more programs that permanently layered ahead of BC.
Btw... whoever keeps saying Bama should just stop watching football. Bama wasn’t the 4th best team in the SEC (LSU, UGA and Auburn were all better).

bcshater {l Wrote}:Looked like a completed pass for Clemson to me. Clemson receiver fumbled and OSU returned for TD. Call on field reversed.
HJS {l Wrote}:Btw... it is pathetic that folks here want the playoffs expanded so some sorta 9-3 BC squad can make it in an Elizabeth Warren Pizza-and-Ice-Cream for all fashion. If BC isn’t one of the best 4 teams, they shouldn’t be in. Just because they win the ACC in a down year shouldn’t demand a chance at a National Championship. Effing New England socialists.
HJS {l Wrote}:This game is over. Clemson can’t handle the tempo and can’t do anything but QB sneaks against Hafley. In the battle of RBs, Dobbins has been great and Etienne disappointing.

Eaglekeeper {l Wrote}:Ryan Day made a huge rookie mistake by not going for it on 4th and 2 with 3 minutes left. He gained 35 yards with the punt, but he only had a 2 point lead with 3 minutes left and Clemson had 2 timeouts. That was a Daz move!
claver2010 {l Wrote}:Hafley plays a ton of 1 safety playing center field. He’s either going to hit the transfer market, move a CB, or abandon that cause the idea of Mike Palmer back there is worse than sparaccio on WRs

This post is amazing.

twballgame9 {l Wrote}:Clemson at times this season was threatened with the possibility of not making it even if they went undefeated because people were rightfully shitting on Clemson's conference. That would have been a huge mistake. Fortunately luck took it out of the equation and made this broke system work.

Who did that? The selection committee or paid trolls like Feinbaum? I effing hate the “what if” scenarios that have never happened. You don’t redo entire the system because things could potentially happen. If a Power 5 conference champion is undefeated and left out of the playoffs, we can have that discussion. Until then, find something else to bitch as yet another year goes by without the slightest question as to who the best team is in college football.
HJS {l Wrote}:Give HCRD credit. I get that Urban left him the most talented team in college football. But, he did a great job of masking Fields (so much so he was a Heisman finalist). Fields may eventually become great, but there was a reason he couldn’t win the starting QB job at UGA. He is simply not an elite passer or runner. The fact that he didn’t really throw a pick all year is mind-boggling. While it is likely the result of superior WRs and time given by a superior OL, it is also based on a scheme by HCRD to give Fields manageable throws and reads.
