BCSUPERFAN22 {l Wrote}:Reading the tea leaves, looks like a few predictions on 247 for both Jah Joyner (DE from Danbury, CT) and Cameron Horsley (DT from NJ), prob one of those two guys to announce commitment next.
Looks like both guys have predictions from the usual team site writers, but both also picked up predictions from Brian Dohn who is a more national writer for 247 and usually not very pro-BC so his picks may carry a bit more weight.

Not surprising but our fence around New England has come crumbling down. The Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year is headed to Michigan.
Mostly defensive guys, so its clear Don is responsible, but Michigan more than most seems to do well in what are our traditional recruiting grounds New Jersey, New England, etc.
So far guys we should absolutely be in on that have gone to Michigan:
Zak Zinter, OL - Massachusetts
Kalel Mullings, LB - Massachusetts (literally lists Boston as his hometown)
Will Mohan, WR - Brooklyn
Eamonn Dennis, ATH - Worcester

and last year Michigan got the best player from Mass (Sainristil) and three from CT. For some reason, they have really made New England a priority. Anyone know why we did not offer Eamonn Dennis?
Tom Dooder {l Wrote}:KJ Costello enters the transfer portal as a grad transfer. Would be a perfect plug in at QB. Get it done Hafley!

He'd be great. Would need a good sales pitch. He's going to be highly sought-after. LSU, FSU etc would probably give a hard look

Penn and Allick are waiting until February. I’d still expect them to end up at BC but they want to meet the next OL coach. Pyne will be there in January he’s got a weird situation where he’s not enrolled in school or something like that so he doesn’t sign a LOI but he’ll be an EE. Not sure what’s up with Sauls.

I think this is further evidence that David Shaw is going for an NFL gig.

From someone I know with Stanford ties, while the Shaw thing could be true, it also seems that Stanford has stopped admitting football players with a 5th year of eligibility into their graduate school programs.
