Important game to start the season Wednesday Night.

Who came up with a 6 pm Wednesday Night tipoff? Crowd will be a small gathering.

Any info at all every come out on the Harvard scrimmage? Limited info trickled out re: URI, more concerned about Heath and Thornton's health. Really nothing out there, which is odd.

I fully expect that this team, minus tabbs, will struggle to win more than 2-3 ACC games.

If Thornton somehow recovers the 5 star taken that he had in high school perhaps we could approach .500 but I tend to doubt it.

Blow this program up. Build a facility and hire a proven coach.

I have trouble believing Manning is STILL the coach at Wake Forest. There's a huge buyout, but still.

They probably think similarly about Jimmy Mac

JCs buyout is minimal which is all the crazier.

Probably doesn't make sense to get a new coach until the facility is built.

I'm guessing in the dark here, but I don't think there's much of a question mark. I'll go:

Absolutely certain: Thornton (1), Mitchell (4), Popovic (5)

Very likely: Hamilton the Ypunger (3), Heath (2)

Possible: Hamilton the elder (2/3), Felder (3)

Minutes from the bench other than the seven above: Herren, Rishwain, Kraljavic

Younger plays the right position and is a far better talent. Tired of 3 guard crap.

Agree so much with this. With very few exceptions, going 3 (or 4) guard heavy is the litmus test for a shitty coach with inferior talent being scared that younger big men will get lost in space without the ball/foul trouble and just throw another "playmaker" on the court to save bad possessions/lack of scheme. Tired of watching people like Jordan Chatman "playing" the 3 so that he can occassionally save a bad offensive possession of swinging the ball around the perimeter with a 3 and zero pick and roll, etc. And watch us get inevitably dominated physically.

The only scenario where BC is a fun watch this year is one where Derryck Thornton and Jarius Hamilton play to their pre-college hype, basically - not Chris Herren and Jared Hamilton playing in the corners for 30 minutes a night.

Let's hope that Rishwain can drain jumpers from the perimeter off the bench. That would be a great help. Glad to see that Felder has come in straight away and is determined to get minutes. Need as many bangers under the boards.

Shame that Kraljevic hasn't made any sort of impact.

Not at all an inside source, but based on scrimmage results and the practice jersey colors seen on the BC MBB IG story a couple days ago (wow that was embarrassing to type), I'd be surprised if it wasn't:

Thornton, Heath, Felder, Mitchell, Popovic

Hamiltons off the bench; Herren/Rishwain in spot minutes; little from Kraljevic

Jairus showing consistent 4 star production and talent would be a huge boost. Haven’t seen any evidence yet that it will happen though.

Didn’t show on the broadcast but it’s a knee. That being said he had it bent and was getting it iced. Not exactly the protocol for an ACL so hopefully not so bad.

Thornton blew out a shoe. Why are we wearing under armour?
