I think BC needs 35+ points to win vs Wake Forest. I dont know if this team has enough gas in the tank for that kind of performance, not unless AJ Dillon gets 3 touchdowns all by himself. If the offense can't produce that much then the defense needs to recover at least 3 turnovers or BC will lose this game. And they might get punked the way they were by Kansas.

Daz might be a shitty game day coach who can’t make adjustments but him and his staff have shown an ability to
Develop players at all positions not named QB.

Not sure any of the defensive staff members that developed players are still here. Allen always credited Pasqualoni, and now Campanile is gone. Sheridan is not all that impressive. Credit to Daz for making some good hires in the first place, but I don’t think he’s been as successful backfilling

They lost 4 starting DBs and 3 starting DLs to graduation/NFL. This talent “reset” was bound to happen at some point. I really hope at some point the abandon the Mike Palmer experiment, he’s been atrocious. I’d much rather take my chances with Muse going forward.

hansen {l Wrote}:just finished listening to the Daz presser.
Daz interestingly put zero blame on AB and instead hinted that the WR routes hadn't been run tight enough and the play calls haven't been conducive to AB completing passes on 1st and 2nd down.
claver2010 {l Wrote}:as stated in the game thread, i think there's a lot that goes into our throw game woes
playcalling certainly a part of it
leading p5 in drop %
i bet our average depth of target is probably top 10% of p5 (both cause we don't throw as much and others use their screen game a lot more)
as is brown's inaccuracy
so far he's been up and down (like last year)
vt was excellent
richmond who gives a shit
ku bad
rutgers ok
angrychicken {l Wrote}:His inaccuracy affects the playcalling. The playcalling doesn't affect his inaccuracy.
BC923 {l Wrote}:The absolute floor for completion percentage these days is 60%. Brown is, what, 54% career? Sure there’s drops but he’s not all that close to being good enough to lead us anywhere or even be the sort of guy who can manage a game for us. Some of that is on him, but like Claver said lots of other factors too

Color me skeptical.
BC923 {l Wrote}:Thamel tweeted out that Wake is averaging 8.65 yards per drop back. I’m sure Sheridan has a plan for that

Parents Weekend, 3:00 start, nice weather, decent beatable opponent. Perfect storm.

I'm expecting a lot of cover 2, cushion defense. Probably will need to bring a lot of blitzes in order to compensate for the lack of pressure from the DL.
