the 4 hour tailgate worked out perfect. it staggered entrance onto campus (we arrived arnd 1215 and there was minimal back up on comm ave) and once you were on it wasn't a fucking rat race to set up, tailgate and get inside.
cops were noticeably tamer. my group was cleaning up tailgate ~15 minutes before kickoff and no one was harassing them to get into the stadium. post game not sure if it was allowed or not but if people were having a drink while packing up no one bothered them.
not all concession stands were open which i'll never understand but the lines were moving.
we'll see as season progresses and they get more than 35k on campus

I’d be surprised if another game gets more than 35k.

Can't you just
- pay a couple bucks to get MBTA tokens
- Take the Green Line/Light rail to BC
- walk to the gate
- pay $20 a buy a ticket in the bleachers
- and just walk to yhour seat just 30 seconds before kick off?
Why is this so complicated? I don't understand. They don't sell out, you could buy a ticket at face cost (or less) just seconds before the game. Why pay a DBS?

I paid for a season pass for that lot, now they're giving it away. This program never ceases to find ways to stick it to season ticket holders and donors.
That aside, it was a great W and a great day.

BC has not been relevant for a long time as far as a top 10 or top 25 even

Define "long time". They spent 4 weeks in the Top 25 last season and came out 17th in one week's CFP mathematical rankings.

When I went they were asking $150 and Brighton lower was sold out I was told.
I had to settle for Waul because I didn't feel like walking that far from Hammond or take the shuttle

Really ? Lower campus was all gone and I had to park by Waul House this season.

He looked ok, Luchetti looked better. They split their snaps about 40/60.
twballgame9 {l Wrote}:Yeargin played fine, for those of us that watched on TV we saw him plenty. I don't know who Lucchetti is, didn't notice him.

not sure which area you are referencing with empty spots but i believe a lot of the passes are given to people who either don't tailgate or don't come to the game
i used to park on lower brighton, was a great set up and good deal. now moved up to comm ave garage and you'll see people pulling in 20 minutes before kickoff

I was talking about the spaces around the old Rec Plex. Lots of empty spaces in that area before the game and I don't think they filled up. BC needs to lower the price for parking and get rid of DBS. The pricing model needs to reflect demand.
claver2010 {l Wrote}:i agree w domingo, just because those spots don't have cars in them doesn't mean people didn't pay for them.
