cremins {l Wrote}:how does this class stand in the ACC? country? seems like another good one. felder and heath are both highly rated and the other two are sleepers
with good looking shots.

55th in the country, near the bottom of the ACC, but ahead of a decent amount of other P5 teams. As with football, this class is probably underrated because rankings are based on clicks to an extent (Felder might be a 4 star had he committed to Bruce Pearl at Auburn, Jay Heath might have been had he committed to Georgetown)
The flyers are good in my opinion too. Rishwain had a Wichita State offer and a Utah offer, and I'll give Lou Williams' son a chance any time.
With Spinelli on staff, I don't see the recruiting as nearly as much of a problem as it had been. They are pretty good at getting kids with decent offers and finding undervalued kids.

Isn’t recruiting still a major problem? We have no depth and start JC Reyes at center.
claver2010 {l Wrote}:i think there are roster issues but over the past couple of classes the recruiting has picked up. if they could convince ky to stick around (maybe he wants to play with his cousin), would be a decently deep roster.
G: Ky, Tabbs, Heath, Herren, Hamilton, Rishwain
Wing: Steff, Hamilton, Felder, Williams, VBJ
C: Pop, JC
edit: still no clue what the asst from ohio does
Uptown Eagle {l Wrote}:The depth problem is with bigs. Robinson, Turner and Milon still being in the program don't solve that problem.

cremins {l Wrote}:since we are really struggling with depth and acc quality players this season, does anyone know how next years recruits are doing this year so far?
looks like freshmen class is going to be solid contributors, need some more depth.

Our HC is looking down the barrel of a 4-14 type ACC season after going 0-18 a few years ago. Unless you think they’re giving JC year 6 (he is currently 13-59 in ACC play) next years recruits aren’t relevant.

These contracts are irrelevant. You know that.

SOURCE: 4-star Collegiate School (VA) power forward Robbie Beran will take an OV to Northwestern this weekend, cancelling his trip to #BostonCollege. #BC is out for the 4-star forward
Northwestern over BC to play ball? That makes no sense.
It's at least possible that we aren't looking for another perimeter front court player after Williams committed. Have to think that they are holding open two spots: one for Walker and one for Girard (or Girard replacement at PG if he goes to Cuse as many expect).
No way we pass on a guy like Beran regardless of what we need at other positions. The Falzon kid from Newton also chose Northwestern over us.
And no one has heard from Falzone or his dick of a father since.
I'm somewhat interested to see how A.J. Turner does this year at Northwestern. He was always too timid while at BC.
I’ve watched Falzon play a few times in person. He struggled with injuries last year. Didn’t play a lot of minutes for northwestern. He has a nice shooting stroke but doesn’t play physical at all. He’s got 2 more years of college basketball but unless he makes a huge leap forward it doesn’t seem like he is much more than a role player.
eepstein0 {l Wrote}:BC offered 2019 PF Julius Marble from Jesuit HS in Dallas. Other offers from Michigan St, Oklahoma St & TCU.
BC also is talking with 2020 PG Santiago Vescovi from Mexico.
eepstein0 {l Wrote}:BC also interest in 2019 G Clarence Nadonly. From Paris, FR but playing stateside for I think the #1 team in the country. WVU, Arkansas, etc. also involved
