Would he take the BC job? As much as we mention him, any thoughts on his opinion of BC?

JesuitIvy {l Wrote}:Well a bunch of those SEC places have had supposed advantages over places like BC forever, and when was the last time Arkansas, South Carolina or Missouri was relevant? Obviously, it must be hard to win there too and he'd have a much shorter leash. And maybe, like me and others, he'd f-ing hate living in the middle of the confederacy, sipping iced tea for some relief from the oppressive humidity and stocking up on fly paper at Walmart

DuchesneEast {l Wrote}:CowboyEagle22 {l Wrote}:Talking with friends in Tallahassee, the word I got was that an extension was being discussed. My impression was that it was being worked on with the goal of announcing it after the season. I asked someone yesterday if that was still the plan and I got a non-answer answer about evaluating the whole program next week. I could be all wrong, but I think Jarmond was thinking Addazio finished with at least eight wins and maybe nine and that extending him was the only option.
That probably means they don't have anyone lined up or even a pool of names they want to talk to about the job. it also means Jarmond has not prepared Leahy for the possibility of replacing the football coach. Unless a donor is in Leahy's ear about this, a change is unlikely.
I hope I'm wrong as I can't take another year of Addazio, but that's the way it looks.
If they extend, I'm done. Every post Jarmond makes I will tag with an Addazio line. No breathing room.

I don't think that there is any chance that Addazio gets an extension. That said, I don't think there is any chance that he will be terminated. 7-6 is perfectly good enough for the BOT. They are content with a loss in Shreveport in late December every year. So (having thrown so much money at the man that they are paying one way or another) I don't think they are giving Jarmond the authority to fire Addazio. That said, I do think that the BOT does give Jarmond the authority NOT to extend his contract even one more day.
I hope I am wrong, but I suspect that Addazio coaches exactly 24 more regular season games as HC at BC. No more. No less.

They do this and the program is going to be set back a long long time. You think some of the Spaz recruiting classes looked bad? Watch what happens when you’ve got a lame duck HC and staff. All the top assistants will bail nobody will watch to join and everybody else would be in every recruits ear about how nobody will be there by the time they end up on campus. This is literally worst case scenario.
