Robinson Gone

He's staying the draft. Good luck to him.

Christian's extension could look foolish quite quickly.

Hamilton and Tabbs are very good, and I think some other guys will step up. They’ll also be much improved defensively.

Congrats to Jerome, hell of a year last year and that was fun in the ACCT.

There’s nowhere to go but up defensively, and Robinson was the major culprit.

I wish the best for Robinson. Him and Bowman made BC basketball fun for the first time since Skinner coached. Unfortunately, had he stayed BC would have realistically been a top 25 team. I sure hope he goes 1st round. I'd hate him to be a second rounder when he could have had the opportunity to showcase his talent with more attention at BC next year.

We'll see what happens with Bowman, I agree that it's going to be Bowman's team. If Hamilton and Tabbs live up to the hype this team could still be decent, but now NCAA bubble is probably best case scenario.

As of March no one associated with the team had a great feeling about a 6th year for Teddy. With that said, the NCAA process around that stuff is really weird so anything can happen.

Greg Marshall admitting he basically screwed Hawkins over isn't going to happen.

That's okay, we're just like Duke. We'll reload...

This is the nature of the beast. Even a little success, emphasis on little, means you have some good players who might leave. That being said, Jerome leaving is one thing and kind of expected. But if Bowman leaves, it's a killer. BC needed him for one more year to at least maintain some level of respectability. Popovic would be the best returning player if Bowman leaves. But I would be surprised if Bowman makes it - he's short by NBA standards, erratic with the ball, and his shot is very inconsistent. Great athlete though.

I wouldn’t necessarily read into that too much. If he had declared it would’ve leaked out.

Without Bowman this team would be quite awful next year.

It says something about the 2018 NBA draft class if we're even having this conversation about a 6'1" point-guard who shot 42% and barely made all-conference.

Might be a spot for that kind of production on the Sixers.

do we have any leads with any fifth years or transfers to replace loss of robinson? or were we holding hope for Hawkins to come back?

We should have an answer on the Hawkins question by early Summer based on the precedent of past years.

They're poking around on numerous 5th years with JRob gone.

Hawkins unlikely to come back.

Someone mentioned Ainge for Jerome. Celtics don't think that he will be around then. The team rumored to give him a guarantee is San Antonio.

The Hawkins thing was always unlikely. They need Wichita St. to basically admit they messed up or tried to screw the kid. No clue why Wichita St. would agree to that.

The Spurs are a weird fit for Jerome.

Bowman worked out with the rockets this week.

SI left him just out of the top 30 prospects for 2019 draft:

Jerome Robinson is not talked about as much in media circles, but he has a lot of momentum in the 1st round discussions of actual NBA teams, and this is pre-combine. I bet he goes top 25.
I like BC basketball.
