eagletx {l Wrote}:It's been a long time since I listened to the radio broadcast, and let me say that it is a real half ass second rate broadcast. Meterperelle is awful...little down and distance or telling where the ball is on the field. Clearly he thinks he is a real clever broadcaster, though. Cronin is just as bad.

Meter sucks.

If Wade wasn’t afraid to take shots, he would be a good QB. He doesn’t have faith in his arm

If I had the arm strength of Wade I wouldn’t have much faith either

Ha! Good point. But he has made some ok throws down the middle. He’s too scared to make a mistake

On that last 3rd down, where he threw to White for 3 yards on a 3rd and 10, Smith was open on a curl for a first down. Now, it would've required a little mustard to avoid the CB playing zone. And, it would've required Smith to catch it... which has been a problem all night.

Wade's internal clock is busted. He held on way too long last week. These check-downs usually occur too soon (before the deeper routes have been given a chance). What I'd like to see is him running the ball a little. That was a difference maker for AB. It seemed to settle him down a bit and certainly opened up some throws because the D had to account for him.

That’s the point. He’s had receivers open deep/intermediate, but he’s not willing to throw it, and instead of running he throws short. Very frustrating

This. UCONN is a crime against humanity level of bad. If we weren’t constantly shooting ourselves in the dick we’d be up by 40 points.

It sucks to be UConn football fan. They are hilariously bad. I actually laughed when their QB threw the pick at the inzone.

Brad Bates may have been terrible, and Addazio probably will ultimately take BC nowhere, but thank god he passed on Bob Diaco

BC up 30 and 3 mins left in the third quarter ... do you pull Dillon?
I would... I don’t see any reason for him to play anymore this game.

Dillon should not touch the ball again this game. No good keep giving him the ball.

I don't think it's far. Connecticut absolutely gutted the spending on the University this year. Sports at Yukon have to make money... or end. HCRE can find a way to have some success. But, it isn't ever going to be a cash cow. They have to realize that and just try to be successful at their level with scraps left behind by BC, SU and RU. Truthfully, no reason they can't be competitive in the AAC. They just have to stop looking at BC as a measuring stick.
