DomingoOrtiz {l Wrote}:“Boston’s College – in America’s best sports town.”
the shitty email that was sent earlier today {l Wrote}:“My favorite memory from my playing days at Boston College was in front of a sold out Conte Forum crowd vs. Georgetown in 1992,” Huckaby said. “I played all 50 minutes of a double overtime victory vs. John Thompson (coach) and Alonzo Mourning. After the game the students stormed the court before court storming was a no-no. Every time I see Mike Gorman (now Celtics play-by-play) who called a lot of our home games during that era we still chuckle about that game. The energy from the student section and Conte was great before, during and after games because the school had not yet been ruined by quiddich playing millennial fucking nerds. It really gave us a true sense of home court advantage and atmosphere that we hope we can trick the quiddich playing millennial fucking nerds into adopting.”

It's a good idea on some level. I see the execution appears as we'd all expect.

Alumni is way better than Ryan field, but the ease of tailgating at Ryan is way, way way better.

Original thought is way too much to ask for, I'll take some well selected plagiarism. But "For Here All Are One" is awful and ham-fisted.
This is fine:
We should do the same exact thing with different colors and maybe an angry chicken DildoDog.
twballgame9 {l Wrote}:For here all are one sucks, but they did make it part of For Boston in the 80s.

Here's my issue with stuff like that:
The problem: Non-BC alum Boston residents hate BC because the current and recent BC student body is (in their eyes and possibly in reality) a bunch of effete, wealthy, nerds and not its traditional Boston area children of blue collar middle class population attempting to better itself. Non-BC alum Boston residents with some connection to the school, e.g. an alum family member, hate BC because they themselves or a child has no chance of either admittance or dealing with the cost due to the influx of said effete, wealthy, nerds. Therefore, Non-BC alum Boston residents either hate or best case feel no affinity towards BC and certainly don't show up to watch sports when BC sucks at sports.
The goal: Bridge the gap with the Non-BC alum Boston residents by making BC appear more inclusive to all Boston residents.
The solution: an effete, nerd slogan that sounds like the rallying call of an acappella group.

Fair summary.

I can't think of a better way to say "We're part of gritty Boston" than the sailing picture at the end.
That'll get the folks from Southie to come to Alumni!
