The BCS National Title Game (and murder)

Postby cvilleagle on Fri Jan 04, 2013 3:42 pm

This Monday, when you're deciding whether to root for Notre :lame or BAMA, don't forget that while Nick Saban is a total dickhole, he has never murdered an Alabama student. Both fanbases are annoying as fuck, so that's a wash, but I keep coming back to the fact that Brian Kelly is a known murderer who has never been prosecuted. Here's hoping Alabama wins one for Declan.

Edit: Also, while I'm at it: Lizzy Seeberg

Now that Schiano is in the NFL, should Brian Kelly be re-christened the Patron Saint of Rapists?

I will edit this post to reflect any further ND-related atrocities. How many have to die before someone stands up to this monster, and where exactly are the corpses buried? BAMA fans should consider learning to ride ponies.

I prefer the murderers over the sec. I feel like a non sec nc is important to college football not sucking more than it does now. F the confederacy, their cracker barrels and their waffle houses.

How is it important to college football that someone from outside the SEC wins the title?
Is this the 5 o'clock free crack giveaway?

A non SEC champ would be ideal vs ANYONE but ND. Both fanbases are brutal but think about which all of us will be exploited to on a more frequent basis. Really unless you live in Alabama or listen to Paul Finebaum on the radio, you wont have to really deal with the Bama folks.

The ND alumni base isnt nearly as bad,but the probability of running in to them and the subway domers/fitzy's from southie who "bleed blue and gold" (but have never been to south bend) is far greater for people specifically in the northeast but even nationally. Not to mention all the BS we'd have to deal with from ESPN and the media. Its been bad enough leading up to the game but imagine if they won.

I cannot remember a worse bowl season. The Chick-Fil-A bowl lived up to the hype, and the Sugar Bowl was a pleasant surprise, but the games I thought were the best matchups (Fiesta Bowl, Holiday Bowl) sucked balls.

Just for the "we are what we are" crowd to mull over, BC is 4-2-1 all time vs 'Bama. 9-9 vs ND (Spaz games have been excised from my record book).

Rooting for a good game and a ND victory. Too many mistakes on that 1st Bama drive for ND.

I respect ND as an institution of higher learning and faith.

But I just can't bring myself to affirmatively root for them. The arrogant alums, the trashy subway alums, the unwarranted publicity and hype etc. Also from a football perspective it pisses me off that they didn't have to play a conference championship game to get into this game.

So I am rooting for no one to win.

As the draft approaches you will see ESPN start ripping Teo's game to shreds. It's already happened once he didn't win the Heisman.
