Anybody here going?...some posters at Crossports are thinking of doing MA's pregame and CitySide postgame (there's a HC Club of Boston gathering there after the game).

You'll be the only ones at all three places
now in the street there is violence
and, and a lots of work to be done
no place to hang out our washing
and, and i can't blame all on the sun
good god we gonna rock down to electric avenue
and then we'll take it higher

I guess Lonnie doesn't like Conte, because it looks like he's trying to build a new arena with those bricks.

The freshman have real quick hands on defense. Other than that nothing has been good.

Poor shot selection. Getting beat down low (Anderson). Turnovers

The Heckmann/ Odio combination sucks.

Nice to see them driving to the hoop and drawing fouls. They're also knocking down shots. Lookin' good.

Lonnie is really good if he plays his role. Same with Heckmann. Stop trying to have the ball in your hands all the time, just run around, spot up, shoot it and you'll be an effective ACC player.

I really enjoy Huckaby's commentating. I don't really enjoy these Sonic commercials. That loud guy is just kind of annoying.

Rahon is really good with the ball.. think he could be a 6 to 7 assists a game guy by the time he's junior.

With the students gone it looks like they've encouraged families with small kids to sit in the risers behind the hoops. Team Ops isn't guarding them.

Similar to my comments following the Providence game, it makes a difference when 1) your players are healthy and 2) you're playing up to your potential. It also makes a difference when your opponent isn't that great and then shoots like crap (2 for 17 from 3).

But with the full squad available (minus Jordan) we've seen in the past two games the team we all looked forward to seeing back in November. They'll struggle against the elite ACC teams but they'll give everyone else a decent game on most nights.

The offense was cranking today; hitting the shots; hitting the cutters to the rim; hitting the pick and roll. It was fun to see. And I remain impressed with the guards poise against the press. It's night and day compared to the days of Al when we couldn't even get the ball in.

I'm looking forward to seeing what they can bring to conference play. Give me Jorgensen and Rashard to go along with Garland Owens and I'll be molto pumped about the future of this team......

this is a preview of the style of play Donahue would prefer to play- points off early offense, open outside threes from an inside-out game- with the "inside" coming from both post play and guard penetration, and good scoring distribution. Of course, he'll have to go into 1/2 court control mode once conference play starts, since we don't have the horses to run with the good ACC teams yet.
As for HC, Dudzinski is a decent post player, but it is hard for Holy Cross to build a decent 1/2 court offense around him when they stink at shooting the 3-ball (that Stevens dude is a chucker).
This is a game they would have lost a few weeks ago...as has been mentioned above, it is nice to see this team relatively healthy, except for Clifford, who is obviously playing monitored minutes.
Coach played a short rotation today, Rahon basically played the whole game and the next 4 all around 35 minutes. Of course, I assume the Don recognizes the importance of capitalizing on the "winnable" games on the schedule.
