I'm prepared to say that Hanlan and Rahon have clearly demonstrated that they are ACC talents, and Hanlan looks like he could be a star. I was wrong in my assertion that Daniels would start, that much is clear now. Running him out of the program, however, remains stupid.

I am also willing to say I have seen enough of Clifford to say that he is an ACC talent, and Anderson to say that he will be a star. I think injuries are slowing both right now, but they proved it to me last season.

I have no problem with Jackson coming off of the bench. As much as he drives me absolutely insane, Heckmann has to be the 5th starter and they need to find another forward asap. Maybe Drago steps in as the 5th starter next season and Heck and LoJack come off of the bench, which would be pretty good. Still concerned about no backup PG.

No question 7 games isn't a large sample size and the quality of competition has been inconsistent, but with the week off wanted to look back at where we were standing last year in comparison to where we are now (ironically the 7th game of both seasons was Ped St)

Last Year:
Record: 2-5
Points: 57.9
Points Against: 70.4
FTM: 14.3
FTA: 21.7
FT%: 65.8%
3PM: 7
3PA: 22.3
3P%: 31.4%
Reb: 31.1
RebAllowed: 38.3
Avg Difference: -7.1
Assists: 9.4
T/O: 16
Avg Difference: -6.6

This Year:
Record: 3-4
Points: 67.6
Points Against: 68.3
FTM: 15.4
FTA: 21.4
FT%: 72%
3PM: 7.3
3PA: 21.9
3P%: 33.3%
Reb: 34.7
RebAllowed: 31.9
Avg Difference: -2.9
Assists: 12
T/O: 13
Avg Difference: -1

Several things:
bryant was an abortion no doubt. 6 assists, 4/18 from 3
rebounding is a huge difference. last year we were outrebounded 6 out of 7 games, this year 4 out of 7 including 3 in a row all with Clifford and at time Anderson hurt
offensively, we never scored more than 67 in the 7 games. this year 67 or more 5 of 7 games

Next time pie charts for you h0m0humpers, probably in a month or so.
Bush, George H W
Cosby, Bill
Disick, Scott
Flair, Ric
Griffin, Kathy
Khamenei, Ali

Scoring being up makes for better rebounding numbers. The other team cant' get a board if you make the shot.

I read somewhere (I think on EA) that the 3pt % against is pretty ridiculous. The poster speculated that while we certainly have given some really open looks - he specifically mentioned pierre jackson- that this is a statistic which tends to revert to the mean.

If true that would be good.
