When the ball is being handed to Sean Sylvia you may think differently.

I had this same frightening thought. Is Two-time Jerome Ledbetter Memorial Spring Game MVP Javorski still on the team?

Baltimore Eagle wrote:I agree with this. I never really expected Montel to come back fully healthy this year even outside of all the rumors of him leaving. I think that, like most people, the thing that pisses me off about his departure is the lack of class with which BC handled it and the fact that we've seen this movie before.
We will be fine at RB on the field.

What pisses me off the most is Montel did not receive quality medical care for his injury. We are talking about a meniscus injury and not a tear of the ACL or MCL. Diane English is a fucking hack and at this point I am comfortable saying that his rehab was botched too.

While I certainly share the concerns already expressed by many regarding the dismissal announcement itself and the manner in which it was handled, it seems rather extreme to state that quality medical attention was not provided. If anyone has concrete evidence of this, it would be grounds for a major malpractice suit against the medical staff as well as suit against the BC Athletic Dept. if they can be shown to have knowingly contributed to such malpractice in either the treatment or rehab. Has Montel ever made any statements that his care was totally botched?

I had to get an MRI done at St.E's on my shoulder and then meet with the doctor a week later. He told me he never had my MRI and when I gave it to him, he looked at the ones I had in high school 4 years earlier and made a surgery recommendation without ever looking at the new MRI's. Even my athletic trainer at BC said it was the biggest joke he'd ever seen. Shockingly I chose not to consult him or have him do my surgery again. Figured it was better to pay out of pocket rather than have BC pay for it than have that guy do my surgery. Only saw English was and she really wasn't much better. I'm shocked that with all the great hospitals in Boston that BC still uses that shithole St. E's.

Physically, Finch is the largest of the three, and he is a bruising type who is hard to bring down above the waist.
The biggest knock on Finch is that he is not the best at taking care of the football. Finch has been known to fumble, and in the BC spring game, he did so twice.

Define "fine".

Unfortunately no as he would have been my go-to guy in this situation.

Probably because it was owned by the Archdiocese of Boston. Caritas was purchased and renamed Steward by Cerberus Capital a few years ago with the stipulation to keep the Catholic teachings in place for three years. That runs out in about a year, give or take. Then you'll most likely see Steward gradually start to offer services they can't right now - birth control, etc. I expect BC will look to one of the many better hospitals in the area when that happens.

Your knee will be unstable but it doesn't really matter so long as you're not making any hard cuts or anything that you would do in a sport, which is why many old people that tear theirs opt for rehab instead of surgery since their most strenuous task is walking down the stairs to tell those damn kids to get off their lawn. Seeing as how you were a junior when it happened, I agree with your assertion that surgery was the correct course of action.
