It says the live period kicks off July 11 so I'd expect some news next week on recruiting.

Party at my place all week as we refresh the twitter machine every 2 seconds. I got Guac and you bring some pita chips.

But i really feel as though these high profile kids will take their time trying to make decisions. Some of our average recruits we offered may have to jump on the offers early to make sure their schollies aren't pulled though

Alex Kline has a BJ Johnson recruiting update on twitter that we can't see because it's in his restricted content on rivals.... can anyone check that out?

- 2013 guard Kameron Williams played well on Sunday, and the schools most active in his recruitment have been Xavier, Miami, Marquette, USC, Florida State, Boston College and Tennessee (all offers).

However, he says Miami is a ways ahead.

There hasn't been anything said of BC in his recruitment until this and Miami has clearly made him a priority for awhile, so there is time

any clue when Dingba is gonna make a decision? It seems like a one man race right now (only BC is reported recruiting him)

We are all very high on him but why on earth is he not highly touted? He plays on a big time team but still no love, kinda scary

Dingba has a few mid-majors on him.

My own guess as why BC is the only high major to offer Dingba so far is:

(1) Dingba is undersized for a PF, even though he reportedly plays much bigger;

(2) his offensive game is still fairly raw;

(3) his superstar teammate Chris McCullough sucks up all the attention.

I find it hard to believe that this state of affairs will continue indefinitely; recruiting Dingba will almost certainly become more difficult if BC doesn't close on him early.

Tough to say at this point. Dingba has over a dozen offers and is not even focused on the recruiting process at this point.

He wants to go to a team that will go to the NCAA's next year, so I doubt that will happen. BC already has Van Nest anyway.

I'm curious as to where his offers are from and which high majors are looking at him

It's difficult to come by specific recruiting info on Dingba, but it looks as if most of his offers right now are from mid-majors. Quite a few high-majors seem to be looking at him because he's extremely athletic -- his coach says he can dunk from the foul line -- but his skill set is still somewhat raw, although he's a fast learner -- he arrived from Cameroon less than two years ago, and has only been playing BB for about five years. Outside of basketball, he 's apparently just what BC wants -- good kid, good student. It's unfortunate that he doesn't seem to be interested in committing early, because his huge upside could attract more high-major offers in a hurry if his development starts to take off.

Maybe someone could be in Vonleh's ear and tell him what an awful coach Roy Williams is.

Clearly, Donahue still believes at present that he isn't wasting his time with Vonleh, which is mildly encouraging in itself, although Vonleh is still unlikely.

Is John Jones related to the BU coach, Joe Jones?

He went to the BC elite camp 2 years ago and played well.

Yes, he is ready to blow up. He is a big time rebounder and shot blocker from Haiti that has endless potential, and BC isn't his only high-major interest so far.

I will hand it to Donahue, he works extremely hard on the recruiting trail. I wish this translated into landing some top players.

The good thing is that at least in 2014, more than any other year, several of the top local players are very interested in BC. Donahue has been recruiting a lot of the 2014 class for a while now and I am hoping it pays off.
I have faith in Addazio. He brings intense energy to the program, something we desperately need.
