as i have said, there are many interesting commenters here, but there is this overwhelming negative vibe here. It is too bad. I can;t think of two more negative posters that Bomberman and Campion? and to think snide genital loving bomberman is a moderator. Well that says it all. it seems the more snide and the more abusve you guys are , the better.

I don't think he knows how to do it right. He keeps reporting his own.

Anyhow, typically what happens with a reported post is we shame the reporter in someway. I banned hansen for a day last time.

I guess we'll just llet Barinthus keep rolling, though, as he is shaming himself pretty nicely.

A hundred years from now when a stranger passes by and finds the deleted account of user 1203, they'll ponder for just a moment of what could have happened. Few will still be alive to remember the unknown user, but for now, we all remember. He was Barinthus, the guy with a profiled fish as an avatar. kind of like the fish you hang on the wall that starts to sing when the lights come on. As you can see below, EO can be an excellent spot to talk BC sports. There are many thoughtful and knowledgable posters. But there are many dicks too.

well, I'd like to think I have a pretty thick skin and I do appreciate your respect. but I look at banning almost like shunning. that is disciplinary, something you do to people who deserved to be corrected, something that is very hurtful and painful to people who like to share.

i don't go out and insult people. i don't give anyone a hard time. i contribute, and this wasn't the first time the humor banning has happened. More like the 5th time, and it hasn't always been Murt (from what I understand.) I'm not looking for any sympathy, I am a big boy. But at the same time, I am not seeing any changes and that is going to have to happen before I return.

I bet $1k with TRE that the ACC would be forced to expand/re-align in 5 years. It only took two years for Pitt and Cuse to be added. Needless to say, he never paid up.
