Isn't Rubin on scholarship?

doesn't this actually make it worse?

with Moton and Humps gone, we've lost our two best defenders.

Really? They didn't add anyone to the heavy class and they freed up scholarships for the next two classes. Were you kidding?

I was missing a significant point, that being that some of the potential^ transfers (ennis, reischel) are current freshman and thus would end up in the recruiting class of 2012 with Hanlan and Rahon after sitting, I thought all the potential transfers were sophomores (and thus would end up recruiting class of 2011 and thus increase the glut Dragiecivic, Cotton etc. are this) or post grad guys who could play right away (end up recruiting class of 2009 and thus make no impact on the glut regardless of moton) for some reason. Furthermore, I think redbaron's point has more weight if there is potential to add a transfer to the recruiting class of 2010 that we hadn't been looking at because of Moton's presence but I don't think there are too many junior transfers.

There are always juco transfers, of course, but that means getting someone substantially better than Tony Gill who can also qualify academically, so I'm not hopeful on that front.

Yeah, a juco hoops player at BC? I'll believe it when I see it. It would have been nice to see Moton stay because he would have added depth; but I think everyone agrees that the expectation is that the incoming freshman guards better be more talented basketball players.
