well the Red sox bullpen is 0 for 1 in 1 game. That's a shitty percentage.

And Andrew Bailey's injury did not have an impact on the game. Melancon probably would've gotten the call regardless.

Edit: The only good that could come from this is a fire Bobby V movement so he has more time to build decks and make wraps and alert Stamford, CT residents of snow emergencies.

Keep telling yourself that. Terry Francona puts Papelbon in there.

And therein lies your first fallacy.

flyingelvii {l Wrote}:No. Wins Above Replacement. WAR. Not Value Over Replacement Player either.

Whatever you say champ. You obviously seem to have some vested interest, so this little flirting game is cute in a sense.
flyingelvii {l Wrote}:I figure this bores you so I won't be surprised if you take your backpack and put it over one of your shoulder and go home to sit on your backward facing chair but, hell, at least humor me.
flyingelvii {l Wrote}:Fuck it, I'm bored, I already ruined the Bruins Weirdos thread so might as well do it with the Red Sox Weirdos one.
Why is gaining an understanding of advanced metrics stupid? I have never heard you say something to the contrary, just that you don't like them. Seeing as how you are a lawyer, I am curious if you are willing to let that stand. Usually if you want to form a decent counterargument you have to gain an understanding of what you are going against and you have basically resorted to the old sportswriter "Mom's Basement" argument, which falls flat on numerous legs, especially the most basic one of they have no idea what they are talking about when deriding these measures. I figure this bores you so I won't be surprised if you take your backpack and put it over one of your shoulder and go home to sit on your backward facing chair but, hell, at least humor me.

Now I remember. He saved 3 games as part of the Dodgers' committee when Broxton lost the job.
Was this a self fag-tag?
Not sure. I wanted to get the answer as soon as possible so if anyone else answered I could ask them to kindly check the timestamp.
What's a fag-tag?

My friend just flipped out because Ellsbury is on his fantasy team. I think Crawford will be back very soon, but this is still tough news for the Sox. And, it's tough news for Ellsbury, because this is his contract year (and he's coming off one of the best years any leadoff hitter has had in recent history).
DavidGordonsFoot {l Wrote}:why do i get the sense that this injury with ellbury will be the last straw for the red sox weirdos? he'll carry that "soft" label around as long as he's on this team.

You want to post his roster?
