Borcich to DE (because of lack of bodies?)

Quinn listed as a SR (we are VERY thin at DT in 2013 if true)

Keyes at FS

Brian Miller at WR

No Andre Williams

No Manny Aspirilla

Isn't Brian Miller a Tight End? It's interesting that he's listed in front of Coleman. I thought Coleman had a chance to be super for us - I still wish him the best. Is this switch to WR for Miller temporary because of Swigert being out?

Keyes as a DB rather than as a LB might make more sense, given his weight. We need a banger back there for sure.

Our LBs are lean and mean.

Bryan Davis at Center is interesting.

Maybe Harris Williams will beat out Ian White this spring - nothing against White, but Williams seems better to me.

Quinn and Noel came in together, but we thought that Quinn red-shirted. I guess there was something to that "lost year".

Any word on Suntrup? I would look for him to bypass Bordner this spring - and fall practice for sure. But that's just me.

Also, as stated, interesting to see Borcich listed as DE. I'm sure he's a tough kid - not sure about his speed yet. I hope he pushes Edebali to really blossom this year.

Mihalik and Wujciak could really help out at the other DE position - even though they are young.

Glad to see Ramsey back. Hopefully this gives Ricci (30 lbs lighter) time to develop, and get a stronger push. Please stay healthy, Kaleb - we really need you.

Sorry to be a pain.

What about Mehdi Abdesmad at DE? I thought this guy was going to be the man, so to speak.

Brian Miller split out as a WR in HS often and is a real talent. Think Aaron Hernandez like qualities. If Miller is fully recovered from his knee injury (it will have been 2 years come this Fall) he could really help the receiver core. Swigert, Larmond, Spiffy, Amidon and Miller will make for a formidable group.

I thought he got a waiver to play this year. My mistake.

Couldn't crack the 2-deep I guess? He was a big disappointment last season. Hopefully Washington can light a fire under his ass.

Yeah that was reported on EO/TFBBS (wherever we were) a while ag. People didn't want to believe it but part of the punishment for testing positive was losings his RS year.

I'm hoping he is the new Mike Javorski, but I am fearing you are correct.

I wonder if he is nicked up too.

He was the star of the Spring Game last year & got serious reps as a true freshman. Hard to believe he has fallen out of the 2-deep...

Mehdi got a lot of playing time last year as a frosh, surprised he isn't one of the 4 best DEs on the team this year. Ricci looks like he's worked himself into shape losing 25 lbs. Quinn and Gallick have gained 15lbs, Gallik had a lot of trouble holding his blocks last year.

Andre Williams was supposed to be a strong #2 RB alternating with Montel last year after his career game against SU (which now looks like the biggest one hit wonder since Build Me Up Buttercup), if there's something wrong with him this team is razor thin at RB, Javorski would finally get some playing time!I think Josh keyes is going to be pressed into service at RB

Miller was lost in a crowd of competent TEs, moving to #1 at WR - maybe he's got some game.

I like Bordner but he showed a lot of limitations at QB last year. A big slow wildcat QB who can't throw.

No fullback, this is going to be a pass oriented west coast offense?

Lost a tackling machine at MLB with a sieve of DBs behind him, Duggan looked good last year, he better be.

The Foundations were actually a two hit wonder co-founded by Arthur Brown who went on to The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and his one hit wonder of "Fire" (don't hear that in college football stadia)

The Foundations were a British soul band, active from 1967 to 1970. The group, made up of West Indians, White British, and a Sri Lankan, are best known for their two biggest hits, "Baby Now That I've Found You" (a Number One hit in the UK Singles Chart and Canada, and subsequently Top 10 in the US), written by Tony Macaulay and John MacLeod; and "Build Me Up Buttercup".

Buttercup doesn't sound very soulful to me!

I don't really know if Bordner can throw or not, he had a 30 yard completion and an interception in garbabe time against FSU. Those are the only two passes that I have seem him attempt. His runs would have been significantly more effective if they let the kid throw a little more. Great job Spaz. :bag :lame :bag
