I guess I'll put you down as someone who give a crap. Does this shit really affect your life?

I didn't realize commenting about it on a message board means it affects my life. Do you always have to be such a miserable tool?

Sorry if you think I am a miserable tool but I usually get put in a defensive position by posters who always reply to a comment with name calling or incidious remarks and my sense of humor does not appear to translate well in print. Look, everyone knows that BC Athletics are in bad way. The the incessant complaining (not entirely by you specifically) and grasping at every straw to further a personal hate agenda for the coaches and administration, like grabbing on to what some current players and former players post on "Brain Fart", is beyond boring at this point.

Just before you call me a merryman, John Kerry, Kiwi and Army hater, I would like to see major changes in the Athletic Department, but I have no personal vendetta against Spaz, Gene D,whoever this Vinny guy is or any other person in the athletic department. I do get more a little uncomfortable when anonymous message board posters attack them on a personal level day in and day out or personally attack fellow alums just because they have a different opinion. To me, it's sports, not life. If Rice, some nutcake from the 82 football team, Nate Dornekamp, or any other athlete writes a letter or wouldn't step on campus because of a current adminstrator or current situation at their alma mater, it's just stupid and in the grand scheme of things doesn't really affect anyone but themselves. They sound like spoiled little cry babies. Withdrawal and scorched earth are usually not good policies if you intend to have a voice in fixing a problem. The funny thing when it comes to tweeting is most of the time the tweeter doesn't even give a reason, just a one liner and then posters and bloggers make up what they meant and use to prove their arguments or further their attacks.

1. You somehow equate giving a crap about the quote because it's a fellow alum with sports being my life. That's a pretty big stretch right there.
2. I count at least 3 anonymous insults of fellow alums in your rant. Good work hypocrite.

Naked children.

Also, people would stop attacking you so much if you weren't wrong about everything.

If you would like to see major changes in the Athletic Department but you're cool with Gene D, then you don't want to see major changes in the Athletic Department.

Read much? And is the “Naked Children” some kind of court ordered warning that child molesters must give before posting?

It's nice you want to spead the apathy.... Hoping Gene is paying you like those tax preparation companies that hire bums to dress up in foam statue-of-liberty costumes and wave at cars... :koolaid

So things are bad, you want changes, but saying critical things makes you feel bad.

Weber just got fired at Illinois afer going 17-15. They played in a NC not too long ago.

See, your just being a dick right there but that's not a surprise really. Your posts are like fingernails on a blackboard.

Of course you wouldn't comment on the actual substance of the post. That says more than I ever could.

1. I posed a question, does this shit really affect your life?, I do not recall posting that it affected your life.
2. Please point out where i insulted at least three alumni or was hypocritical. I didn't insult the nutcake because of a differing opinion, I called him that because that is what he has proven himself to be.

Because he is a fellow alum and he is far from the only person who is either thinking this way or has followed through with the threat.

I am not trying to spread apathy, I am saying that attack after attack about the same thing by the same posters ad nauseum is well..nauseating. But do whatever you like.

Yes, and after I answered that it didn't, you commented further in response - "to me it's sports, not life" which is a strong inference that you were ignoring my answer and drawing your own conclusions because I acknowledged Ty's comment and you didn't (even though you have). Thanks for attempting to backpeddle, though. No spine.

If you could read, you'd notice I said I count at least three times where you insulted alums in your rant, not that you insulted at least three alums. Not an important difference here, but it points out your easily confused nature. "Nutcake", "spoiled little crybabies", and "it's just stupid" - it being their comments about BC.

Funny that you're allowed to anonymously insult a BC alum simply because you feel he has "proven himself to be" that insult. Using the same logic, I am free to insult you as long as you've proven yourself to be whatever I call you. So basically there's not much I can't call you.

EDIT: Uhh, nevermind, someone made a seperate thread on it. So, to make this post un-useless (uhh..), I'll say that fighting is dumb! ...And should... stop!

Vinny sucks. Now he thinks he's a tough guy. He's gotta be a short, skinny little bitch. I hope someone does confront him one of these days and kicks him in his vagina.

I'm not saying you should, but you can click through to his Twitter page and he has a picture of himself as his avatar. He may have also tweeted pictures of his wife (!?) a couple weeks ago. In theory it could be entertaining to reading his feed, but I'm not suggesting it.

I thought it funny when he asked FakeBCGeneD to stop tweeting him.

I think it's funny how Gene can do no wrong in his eyes despite the state of BC athletics, but he has given up on the Miami Dolphins for far less.
