Therefore Napoleon won't do it.
Seems like there will be a decent amount of BC people there, NAMETAG EVENT!

I've heard that in the past BC put together a travel package for this game, with a hotel stay in NYC and then a boat ride up the Hudson to West Point for the game. Has anyone done that? Not sure whether it would be cost effective since I'll probably be bringing the kids, but it sounds like a fun way to make a weekend of it.

I think I was actually living in Westchester the last time we played at Army (2000) so I do not know if they had put together a booze cruise to the game from the city. However, I do know it has become common for visiting teams to do that over the last few years. I would bet money that BC has something good for this trip. Damn, I can not believe it has been 12 years!

Who would be in charge of that? If the alumni set it up... yeah it will be great. But, if this is something spearheaded by the Athletic Department, you can rest assured that the means of transportation will be aFung Wah bus... complete with fire.

Would you really mourn a loss???

If we have enough people, we can always set up our own booze cruise or bus leaving from NYC/NNJ.

If we make this a nametag event, will nospace fly in for it?

There's probably a picnic that day.

Who told you about BBQs anyways? Isn't that an American phenomenon...

I'll look up a price and see if its worthwhile.

Not sure if it would be cheaper...but I'm sure the Jersey side would be doable for most as well (you know I have people in hoboken and there are lots of others in the hobo/jc area).

No matter what we do Jersey side will be cheaper and a shorter ride.
The few I checked from Manhattan were like $6g min. I am sure there has to be something cheaper somewhere.

If it saved $$ (and in turn allowed more to participate), I wouldn't be opposed to BYOB instead of a cash bar type of thing.

Agreed BYO would be an easy way to slash the price I would think
