It would be really great to win this big game and then have a bye week to get more kids healthy for the ACC stretch run. We need everyone at the top of their game!!!
Go Eagles!!!!
PS - I forgot to mention that besides being a killer passer, LeFevour also has scrambling ability. Very scary.

I want this team primed, healthy and ready after the bye week for @ UVA, UNC, @ MD

They are only giving CMU a 40% chance of winning this game. That hurts because they have done a good job of predicting the outcome of our games up to now.
They do see the game as being close with Boston College winning by a score of 24-21. That's one point more than the Eagles get for home field advantage.
If it's that close the Chippewas have a good chance of pulling off the upset. We are definitely the underdog in this one.
You may have to cut and paste that link. And if it doesn't show the CMU-BC game just look down the list of games in red on the right of the screen.

Now if your coach would just hold out some of your better players that are a little nicked up and save them for the rest of your conference schedule that would also help. And please look past us - don't take us too seriously. Remember, we're from the lowly Mid American Conference, a weak conference according to one of your local papers.

Speed, especially on the defensive side of the ball, is what did us in at Arizona. Our coach, Butch Jones, said he had never seen that kind of defensive speed while at CMU. I will admit speed is one of the differences we fans notice when MAC teams go up against a BCS program. It's one of the things we are now focused on when recruiting players for the so called skill positions. And with regard to size I will mention that some have said we are undersized on the offensive line, even for a MAC team. That doesn't seem to have hurt us so far.
