My list of new AD's to purse would be:

Tom Holmoe - BYU, 51 years old
Vince Nicastro - Villanova, 46 years old

They both run athletic departments with better overall records than that of BC. For ex BYU has averaged #40 in the annual LACDA rankings, whereas BC has averaged #67 (Villanova averaged #52). The best guys like Jurich of Lousville, and Luck of West Virginia are probably out of reach. These guys could be in reach.

GDF is protected by Leahy... who couldn't give a flying Chocodile what BC's records are in its athletic pursuits. This puts the burden on the BOT... which is filled with a bunch of people who want nothing more than to be invited to cocktail parties. The last thing they are doing is lowering themselves to deal with the transient happenings of funny shaped bouncy balls.

I further predict that any BOT member who dares question GDF's status will summarily be removed from the BOT. The last time we had a BOT member who gave a crap, it was Gregory P. Barber. He vociferously objected to GDF's rolling 5yr/$6mm... was out-voted... and was gone. That is the precedent that our lackluster Trustees face. Sure... there are a few Trustees who pretend to be sports fans... but there ain't no one who is willing to put their butt on the line and advocate for the obvious needed course of action.

OK, the other night BC called me about a donation. I told them I will not donate again until GDF is gone in protest. I will not set foot again in ALUMNI stadium or renew my football tickets until this happens. I have done this now for 3-4 years now but still have season tickets to hockey.
