This.
We're going to get pounded. This is not a good road team and UVA is a Top 25 team.

Not saying we'll win, but we won't get pounded. UVA is a slow pace team, which reduces the chance of blowouts and is how we usually play anyways. Moreover, people aren't talking about the fact that part of the reason that UVA got beat by Tech is that they lost a major contributor, Assane Sene, who is not much of an offensive threat but is a good defensive contributor and really gave them some solid minutes of play.

UVA fans talk about Sene the way we used to discuss Josh Southern.

He's been a disruptive force in the lane defensively in Conte the last few years. Not the biggest loss for UVA, but given this team's troubles down low against Wake, I'll gladly take Sene's absence as something BC might be able to capitalize on.

Take BC and the points... (+18) I think UVA's sphincter tightens up and although beating a top 25 team at this time might be far fetched for BC covering this spread is very doable.

FYI UVA has held seven teams under 50 points.
UVA 58
BC 44

Every game in the ACC is winnable… that’s why we play the games. Every suit of armor has it’s kinks finding them and exploiting them is the tough part. Eliminate those weak entry passes and eliminating their 2nd chance shots is key.
UVA can be beaten as we can see by their record… I take nothing from them they are a top 25 team and they should handle BC. UVA is not one of the projected wins for BC however if BC can move the ball quickly (3-4 quick passes each time down )and play some defense they have a shot at winning this.
In any close game I really like BC’s chances… the pressure will be on the other team not to lose to these guys. BC will cover the spread (again)
/side note/Wake came into the BC game with a do or die mindset. They could not afford a letdown or a loss to BC while BC came into the game with a hey its our 4th game in the ACC mindset. This young squad will make a game of it if they get 4 guys into double figures in scoring.

No, he's right. I wouldn't be shocked... I'd pick a word higher on the surprise pyramid like "flabbergasted."

You all realize UVA is a top 20 team right? 38 is absolutely a possibility.
