SeaCaptim {l Wrote}:Paterno was the highest paid employee at Penn Sate at just over $1 million per year not including endorsements, side deals etc. It took reporters years to get Penn. State to release any salary information on Paterno.
Penn State is not a public school, but a "land grant" public supported agricultural school. PSU received about 9% of its annual budget from the State of Penn. The state gave PSU 780,000 acres of land in 1863. PSU Football supposedly made a profit of $50 million in 2010. (top 5 or 6 in the country)

Interesting. A few years ago I was golfing with a buddy and we were paired up with two friends that were a few years older than us at the time, maybe early 30s. Anyway, the two of them were really competitive and talking shit to each other the whole time. One of them left a relatively straightforward 10 foot birdie putt like 5 feet short, proceeded to hastily 3 putt, and absolutely flipped. He threw his club back at his bag and yelled "GOD WHY AM I ALWAYS SUCH A PUSSY." I swear to God everyone on the entire course that morning must have heard him. Needless to say it was kind of awkwardly silent until the next tee.
To break up the silence on the next hole and to bring him back to Earth, my friend asked him what he did for a living. Turns out he was in IT.

He also worked under Paterno his entire career. Bradley indicated at his presser, that he thinks the world of Paterno.

I'm getting the impression that Tim is outing himself as Edward Aronson (sp?)

Do you guys think that Joe Paterno's newly hired criminal defense attorney will advise Joe to pull the "Slick Willy" defense? "
