oncore did break the biggest story in BC message boardery history back in 2006, but all signs point to Spaz coming back. Gene's tweets, the obvious PR campaign being waged in the pages of the Globe via Blaudschun, and ATL's posts tell me the decision has already been made. I don't know much about Logo's track record or sources, but I agree that where there is smoke, there is fire, so if that puts me on Team Logo, so be it.

To clarify my prediction, I was working within the time frame of oncore and Logo's predictions. I do not think Gene and Spaz are sent packing due to the performance of the football team.

But now that Gene has gone on the record about UConn and the story is gaining steam, I am starting to lose confidence in my prediction.

I agree that Spaz survives with 4 wins but that is not going to happen. I split the difference, Spaz is out after the season and GDF stays but has less control hiring the new coach.

besides, it's pretty hard to defend a sub .500 career record coach, that has less wins each year climaxed (barring some miraculous turnaround) into a 4 or less win season...
