I really can't stand Kyle Lohse. He is arguably the worst cardinal of all time....

Tony LaRussa is such a clown. He just called me in to pitch lefty in the 7th.

Is there any worse feeling than watching an elimination playoff game, your team down 3+ runs with only a handful of outs left, and feeling hopeless because your team hasn't hit a lick all game? :(

Been there, done that. Last time was the 2004 ALCS.

These two teams are making up for that abortion that was the first 5-6 innings.

The first error plagued innings were painful to watch...

No real rooting interest (usually root for NL teams cause it's real baseball) but I can't stand LaRussa.

You may never see a BC team that talented.

Ryan, Callender, Purvis, Gunnell and BRob, McCluskey, Cherilus, Castonzo, Claiborne, Tennant, Rollins, Silva, Bowman, Akins, Herzy, Mac, Brace, Giles, Albright, Francois...

Team was fucking loaded.

FYI, these two Cardinal fucking douchebags announcing the game are utterly intolerable. Buck just blows and McCarver is an idiot of epic proportions.

McCarver is senile. I grew up listening to Buck so I guess I am immune to him by now.

This team embodies the "play like a cardinal" mantra like none I have seen. They may not be the most talented team ever but they refuse to quit, play a hard nine every night, and somehow find a way to win.

I give them all the credit in the world. They won in spite of the fact that their manager had money on the Rangers.

Given the lack of starting pitching on this team, he managed this team as well as any manager could. He found a way to make a rotation out of carpenter and a couple of other guys. He made all the right moves. :kudos

He got lucky with rain and managed the bullpen like a fucking retard. The series should have been over in 5 so he didn't have to worry about praying for rain so that his only starter could go in Game 7.

That is all.

The bullpen disaster in game 5 was a mess but otherwise imo he made all the right moves. I actually think the fact that carpenter is the only starter (with slight apologies to Garcia and others) and somehow was able to mix and match relievers to get though a 7 game series. E.g. In the NLCS, the relievers hrew as many innings as the starters. That's unheard of if not amazing.
