I know everyone is kinda in shock over this but we really shouldn't be. They played mediocre (v. Merrimack) or downright awful (v. Northeastern) in their last 2 games and got away with it. I almost would have preferred they lost one of them in order to get them re-focused. I hoped the start of the tournament would straighten them out, clearly that was not the case, and as such they were well overdue to get punished for their boneheaded and/or lazy play (similar to the stretch starting with the Beanpot where they gave up like 25 goals in 3 games without losing).

Tough way to go out for the seniors, but again, you play with the IQ of a BC basketball player in a 1 and done setting, you're asking for trouble.

Putting Milner in for the last few minutes was fucking bullshit. It's Muse's last game give him the fucking ice and let him deal with it. You aren't fucking winning the least you could do is show him some fucking respect. You never get that moment in time back and it fucking killed me to see that.

And I fucking hate Muse as a goalie but for fucks sake that was fucking amateur hour.

I've seen this team play 30+ games this year and these seniors play over 100 -in my wildest dreams I never saw this coming.

I haven't seen a BC team be dominated like that since the 08-09 season when they played at BU where the talent gap was so wide there was literally nothing BC could do.

This night included, this senior class will go down as the best class ever to step foot on campus at BC.

Several thoughts, eventually I'll sack up & watch the DVR

1) Agreed, having Muse watch the last 20 minutes from the bench was clownshoes. This guy is playoff-wise the best goalie we've ever seen at BC & there is no argument.
2) I've never seen a goalie allow 4 or whatever it was, goals in the 1st period and still make so many huge, huge saves
3) The D was an absolute abortion -before the game was out of reach they were getting 3/2 on 1s every 30 seconds. Is the fact that all 7 Dmen are coming back a good thing? Obviously exaggeration but Jesus Christ
4) The 5 forwards on the 1st unit finally comes back to bite us

This. I'm stunned York did that. The guy was only something like 25-1 in elimination games prior to last night and is a senior that has led you to 2 national championships. Seriously?

I have to agree with others. Taking out Muse was a bad call and I was disappointed York made that decision. The defense was terrible, not his fault.
