We beat UNC last year and no one stormed...
I think the nerds will show up (since it's UNC and they don't realize that UNC's been terrible the past couple of years), but we'll see about the whalepants, 9 PM game, snow, etc.

MOTO {l Wrote}:The way I see it, storming the court would show some enthusiasm from the student body at Boston College that is often lacking. In that respect it would be nice to see some energy and would signal the type of win we haven't had at Boston College in too long. On the other hand, it has the tendency to demonstrate the program's lack of big wins in the basketball program. You certainly wouldn't see that type of celebration when a North Carolina beats Boston College in Chapel Hill. So to that end, it could be perceived as embarassing. On balance, it is probably a good thing and a bad thing.
That's the way I see it.

Duke 2009. Though I generally do agree with you. We don't get storm-the-court type wins at BC. Usually we get close, but can't close. The number of times we were within five points or less of beating Duke and UNC in my four years is too painful to recall. I guess my point is that the student body overall probably doesn't realize that UNC is in a down year. All that said, Conte will probably be packed, hell I'll even be there, which will be good for the team.

It's a shame tomorrow's forecast does not call for FAIR WEATHER.*
