Just get 4 and we will talk about longevity and the future.

Speaking of longevity....the future Miss Claver, tell her your life is in peril.

Have her crush on me on here or Facebook as a backup plan in case we lose and I have to take out you and Trumpet Boy, BC 12 and Adam06.

Anything change in last 40 years???

Probably not.

It started 14 years ago with Colorado College and it ended with Colorado College.

Thos kids played great and even with 3 posts, BC was beaten.

I hope they go all the way.

I've had some points of contention with York based on personal anecdotes, but hell if I can't realize how good of a coach he is. 900 wins is ridiculous and I am very appreciative of how spoiled I am. I was at BC for four years. We went to the Championship three of those years. We won two of those years. That one loss hurt but fuck if it wasn't mitigated by the awesomeness of the next three years. I have been very critical of York on this board for various reasons but, hell, if I can't acknowledge his greatness, then I have no credibility here. This guy can coach a team. He knows how to coach a team. He knows when to coach a team. I would personally love to be coached by him. Have him teach me his drills. Have him teach me his philosophy. Have him teach me his ideals. Have him teach me his systems. I never even came close to that but it was awesome to have something to strive to and something that I really believe helped the club team ascend to the heights it did in it's first few years (yes, that last game still fucking stays with me).

Truly a BC great and nothing could even remotely take that away from him. Congrats Jerry. You've deserved it. You've more than deserved it.

Well said, very well said we are spoiled to say the least.

Watched HE live up here in Maine and it was the lead story. They show footage from the lockerroom and who is there? That midget GDF, giving York a hug, stay the F away.

I hope York breaks the record next year but certainly he'll come closer to Mason's record and if not, the following season for sure. Imagine if Flynn had hired him earlier when he had not much experience. BC hockey would have been way off the wall all these decades.

York needs 7 wins to tie, 8 to break.

If BC runs the table the next couple of games it would set up @ BU to tie vs BU to break

Not going to lie, the idea of Bates picking Jerry's successor now scares the fuck out of me. If it was solely his choice, there's no question we'd end up with failboat Blasi out in Oxford.

There are 3 things however that I'm using to quell my nerves:
1) Jerry being able to handpick his successor
2) The $5 MM gift that is exclusively for the hockey coach and some big time BC donors that donate exclusively to the hockey program, so $$ won't be an issue
3) God willing, Jerry outlasts Bates
