Team is on a three game losing streak being unable to play a complete game in any of those (1.5 vs. SLU, 2 vs. Denver, 1 vs. BU) and what's the best cure for that? Last place PC coming to town. An awkward Tuesday night crowd without the students back yet will create an interesting environment at Conte. This team met in the finale of the 1st semester @ PC where BC won 3-1, with the 1 goal being a fluke deflection that shot in the air no one saw it and fell behind Muse, in one of the more complete games they have played all year. They took 0 penalties in that game. PC is 2-7-1 in HE with the wins over UMass & UML, they haven't played in a full month since that game against BC. PC has trouble scoring goals, if you take out an 8 goal explosion against Bowling Green, they average 2.06/game. Their goalie, Alex Beaudry, is one of their best players and is 2nd in HE in save percentage and GAA (.922 & 2.43). For those listening they will hear a familiar name Chris Rooney (0-4-4) who is the younger brother of former BC player Joe Rooney. BC needs to play a complete game to get back on track and pick up some vital points with a fairly tough upcoming three games after this: Maine, BU, @UML.

That'll do it wins 4-1, it sounded as if in the 3rd BC's ability to cycle 4 lines really wore down PC. Not a complete game, the 2nd period wasn't great but they were able to rebound and control play in the 3rd final shots were 45-16 . With the win BC is even in games played with UNH and is three points behind for first place. They are 1 point ahead of Maine and they have played an extra game, huge game on Friday against Maine.

A good, not great game to watch. We dominated the first period. At the end of the first the SOG was 20 - 1. Ridiculous!

Second period was very frustrating. We gave them too many opportunities and they were able to score.

Third period we decided to play some hockey and got another 2 goals.

We looked fast out there - not sure why they slumped the last 3 games, but glad to see we're getting points in HE play.

BC is roughly halfway through their year (a little less assuming they make the NCAAs), some of the offensive progression from last year is impressive.

Is part of that due to graduation? It doesn't feel like we're scoring more points per game than last year. (Just taking fewer stupid penalties leading to powerplay goals.)

Probably a little bit of both, we are scoring a half goal per game more than last year (3.5 vs. 3.1) and we lost our leading scorer Bradford 25-17-42 -he was our only legitimate scoring threat last yer. Much more scoring balance this year.

I'll say it was actually 3,164... our tickets didn't scan (Ticket office too cheap to buy new toner) and they let us in anyways.
