If you could also keep the font all the same size I'd greatly appreciate it. Too bad the Frozen Four is in Detroit, what an
awful place.

I might go if BC makes it this year. It's my understanding that the arena is downtown. If BC goes, hopefully a midwest team or two does as well. Otherwise, I doubt anyone will bother going and downtown will be dead.

Right now airfares are around 300. Only other real option is to drive. It's about 700 miles, so it would be possible to do it in a day (leave crazy early on Thursday and return on Sunday). Hotels in Detroit are currently very reasonable.

Yea I live in DC so was there. Unfortunately the wrong Boston team won. I just can't motivate to go to Detroit.

Cheapest way is definitely to drive. My hometown is about two hours due west of Detroit. I just drove from Grand Rapids to Boston in 13 hours about two weeks ago. Stopped for gas twice, I believe. Flying Boston to Detroit usually runs just under 300 total (after taxes and fees) as long as you don't buy the ticket a week in advance. The flight is about two hours.

Oh, and to the person who asked who would want to go to Detroit? Downtown Detroit is actually a nice area. You want to avoid certain parts of the city, and you definitely want to avoid Flint. There is actually a lot to do downtown, including a couple of really nice casinos.

Edit: That ticket price is round trip.

So, it's from south of Detroit?
