Today's Wall Street Journal has a front-page article about the BC-BU rivalry in hockey, and focuses in particular on the relationship over the years of York and BU coach Parker. It is very complimentary to both programs and coaches. I'd attach a link but I only have a print subscription.

It's cause Parker is a douche.

In the Battle of Comm Ave DVD, York said he was rooting for BU last year as it would be good for Boston & HE. The video cuts to Parker who said something along the lines of "No way in hell I would root for BC".

I don't have any real details. I was just told that Zamhall's daughter looks like a nun compared to Parker's daughter.

And Parker is an excrable person. I heard that his wife wished cancer on herself so that she wouldn't have to live with him anymore.

Whoever wrote that article blatantly thought Parker was a dick and barely tried to conceal it. Between all the compliments to York being polite and always a gentleman to the story about Parker wanting BC to lose every game while York said BU winning is good for Boston hockey and good for the league, it's obvious to everyone with a brain that York is a good guy and Parker's an a-hole.
