Yeah. This team absolutely sucks. The defense is still appallingly bad and it looks like for the second straight year we pulled a turd of a goaltender out of the transfer portal. Our best player hasn’t even played yet, but who fucking cares because Gauthier can’t change the trajectory of this shit show and he’ll leave and sign with Philadelphia at the end of the year.

More good news, the upcoming recruiting does not appear to be of a quality and quantity that will run this thing around anytime soon. So it would appear that all three of our revenue sports programs have been imploded.

Thank God UNH's program is an even bigger trainwreck than ours.

Watching the game… BC has some excellent offensive skaters. The D is awful (especially when handling the puck).

BC is college hockey’s 3rd youngest team (Gauthier is legit… Northeastern announcers were calling him Eichel-like). That’s not something that equates with success… especially when Western schools are playing 30-somethings.

Of course not. The current athletic department shows almost no regard for its fans. I don't care if Blake James is a public face for the department or not; what he needs to do is professionalize the operation from top to bottom, fire coaches when necessary, and make solid hires.

I checked out the hockey jersey options available via the "Shop" link on bceagles.com. Lots of BC Women's Club Hockey apparel appeared on page 1, but no varsity hockey jerseys - men's or women's. The "Featured Sports" tabs are in alphabetical order, so it's Baseball, Basketball, "Club Sports," Cross Country, and Fencing before you have to scroll. If you search for Men's Hockey, you get short-sleeve t-shirts (perfect for winter), starting with #10, Mitch Andres (then Burke, Gustafsson, Hreschuk, O'Neill, Powell, and Warren). No Gauthier, Nesterenko, or Ambrosio. It supposedly sorts by "Best Sellers." I know it's run by the bookstore/Follett, but at this point, it's like they're trolling the few remaining fans.
