What’s the opinion on the hire? Someone tell me what I should think.

the logical hire knowing the program. not necessarily good or bad, but there's a reason why i plugged him as the runaway favorite

Let’s hope he is like Snooks Kelley and not Steve Cedorchuk. Two great Eagle players with no college head coaching experience—one a legend and one the worst hockey coach in the history of the program. Heads or tails!

As you mentioned, at least Brown has the successful USHL head coaching experience. Was Cedor just dumb, or did he just think he could get away with offering multiples of the scholarships at his disposal?

I think Brown will be successful; we'll know in a few seasons. Luckily, BC has some loaded recruiting classes the next few years. We know he can recruit and coach special teams (Then again, Cedor could recruit under Lenny, too; he recruited a lot of dirtballs when he was in charge, though). Seems to be bright and well-liked. Let's see if he can handle all of the expectations. Assistants will be key, but he should have plenty to choose from. I hope he keeps Ayers, just to keep the goalie pipeline strong.

Very understated in a Jerry-sorta-way. That tends to work in Hockey. Nonetheless, he will live and die by his recruiting.
