Weekend vs. UVM

UVM makes its only trip Conte in a Saturday-Sunday matchup. BC lost at their opener at the Gut 4-1 where BC's powerplay struggled immensely at 0-8.

Since then UVM is 1-2-1 with their lone win over PC, the predicted bottom dweller of the HE. For BC they have been 3-1-1 and their powerplay is scorching after a 6-12 weekend.

It would be nice to see BC's young D clear out a lot of the crap infront of Muse which led to several of the goals on Friday night.

I believe BC is offering free video to these games to hype their improved "Eagle Access".

This is one of those weekends where we could come away with 2,3 or 4 points depending which team (on both sides of the puck) shows up. After watching our last couple of games, I feel pretty good (and thus am not to worried about coming away with 0 or 1 point), but they know how to beat us, and could do it again.

Merrimack 6-3 over BU. They are now 1-5-0 in HE

Not too surprised. A bunch of their players went pro after last season.

I didn't realize we were 5th in HE. Not a great record to start. Let's go Eagles! Getting 4 points here would be huge.

Attendance was pretty bad, but I suspect many were not going to drive to campus after the UVA game.

I think there will be more families there, but less students. The student section on the net BC shoots twice at was surprisingly crowded.

Anyone concerned about the temperature today and the lack of AC at Conte? It's mid 60s outside and the 4 pm start isn't going to help. I hope this isn't another embarrassing fog-out.
