BU had 3-1 lead with ~7 minutes left in the 3rd. Now tied 3-3 with The Fighting Sioux / UND. 2 goals by UND within 3 minutes. A Sports Center highlight will be the glass shattering when a UND player checks BU player into the boards / glass which totally explodes.

Going to OT. The momentum changed to UND after the break to replace the glass. 2 goals by UND after replacing the glass.

UND scores in OT. But off-sides called and OT continues after a very long official review. Surprised that the goal got called back.

Looking at the review again for off-sides the right call was made.

Fighting Irish 3 Minnesota 2, Final. Gophers up 2-0 but key play was ND scoring when Gophers changing lines. Perfect pass from ND goalie during the change of lines led to the goal. Had my Minnesota shirt on today in memory of a former co-worker a die-hard Gopher fan.
BU up 1-0 over Minn-Duluth. Not nearly the crowd of last night on The Fighting Sioux home ice, OK, Fighting Hawks, but they will always be the Sioux to me. If the North Dakota fans are really true hockey fans they would have shown up for this game.
UML 5-0 over Cornell and play the Irish tomorrow. Rooting for UML big-time in this one.

Harvard 1 Air Force 0 in the East Final. Was thinking of attending this in Providence but the 8:30 start was not something I was interested in.
Where is everyone?

They did win the Hockey East Regular Season Three-Way Championship Trophy, hockey's holy grail.

That was glorious. Apparently, Keller has already departed. I have heard McAvoy and JF-K will be joining the B's before the end of this week and the Wild, who with the exception of Alex Tuch are basically bereft of young talent in the organization, have already signed Luke Kunin and like Kunin, are considering signing Greenway to play out the string for the Iowa Wild (who have about 10 games left and will not make the ANAL playoffs) and then carry Tuch, Kunin and Greenway as healthy scratches on the playoff roster (because they would get the experience of practicing and being around a Cup contender and would not have any impact on the cap the team has to stay under after the trade deadline when rosters can expand).

Harvard loses 2-1 to Minnesota-Duluth. Gives up a goal with 26 seconds left and then hits the crossbar twice in the closing seconds.

Anybody watching the show in between games? They showed the Travis Roy piece like they do every year and for some reason Dave Starmans response to that was to talk about how the Travis Roy story highlights how great New England prep hockey is at developing NHL players? He went on for a while about it.

ESPN doesn't really care about who they carry for hockey and definitely. It for colllege hockey. Melrose just said "a dangerous quarter in this quarter" for some reason.
