So Colin White is likely leaving. While I don't think we lose any other underclass men to the NHL, I'd suspect we see some people shuffle out for playing time etc.
Sucks to start this thread so early but what ya gonna do?

I think it's only inevitable that at least a few of the players are no-fault divorcing BC, due to feminism

Nice not to have to worry about any other early signings, at least, after last year.
I suppose one or two guys may decide to chase playing time elsewhere, but hopefully this is it in terms of churn among underclassmen.

It appears less guys than I hoped are leaving BU:
http://dailyfreepress.com/2017/03/29...eenway-hickey/Quinn saying Hickey, Fabbro, Greenway and JFK all expected back

No clue. I know that sometimes foreign players are tricky. There was a kid that BU bounced (Letunov?) that ended up at uconn two three years back.

BE Interruption has a quote from Coach King stating that the Women's team got the same renovation due to the influence of Jerry York. Imagine if BC had made him an offer he couldn't refuse to become AD, instead of Bates. I think every program would be back on track. Coach Champion simply gets winning and the potential of BC.

Brian Boyle has been diagnosed with leukemia. Terrible news.

http://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/2075 ... d-leukemiaLook... this isn't a good situation... but, CML is pretty much the "best" leukemia you can get. Survival rates are incredible (when you think about how deadly it was a couple of decades ago). Article mentions a return to the ice in a few weeks. That may be ambitious, but don't be surprised to see him playing sometime in October. Really speaks to how far along medicine has gotten in tackling these terrible diseases.

Is this team going to be good this season? Based on what I saw last year and what’s coming in they’d be lucky to finish in the top half of hockey east.

take this fwiw, one of the guys who sits near us at Alumni seems to be somewhat plugged in to the athletic department, mentioned that there are a growing number of people in the program who want to see York retire. At this point he doesn't do much (Brown runs practices and assistants obviously handle majority of recruiting) and he is mostly there as a figurehead. Some are worried that Brown will walk if he is not given an opportunity soon (if that is the case you would have to think that Cavanaugh would be easily plucked from Storz). Was first I heard of any of this, but he was apparently told this by someone in the Brown family

Based on what I saw at the exhibition, I think this team may surprise. Not back to the Frozen Four, but better than expected. Great OOC schedule, we’ll know early on what they’ve got.
