so selection show is at noon today on espnu

consensus is we're staying east w PC as the 4/5. the interesting thing will be where.

qpac is the overall 1 and the order is protect the #1 above all else. qpac is 92 miles to worcester, 143 miles to albany. but do they make the #1 overall seed drive 50 extra miles to allow BC & PC to stay much closer home and avoid 2 catholic schools potentially playing on easter sunday (albany is sat / sun & worcester is fri / sat)?

Hockey East invitational. We'll have 6 teams in the field thanks to NU's "BC in 2012" run.

Maybe there will be a leak of the brackets early via Twitter like the basketball selections.

The Saturday Game is 9 pm? Brilliant

I'll expand further on this idiocy since I enjoy complaining. 9 pm on the Saturday of Easter Weekend in freaking Worcester is going to result in an attendance disaster. Even with BC and Providence in the final, very few will haul all the way yo to Worcester to get home between 1-2 AM.

The NCAA are freaking morons

I don't like the way BC is coming into the tournament cold. reminds me of disappointing teams the last couple of years. :hokie

Yeah hard to explain what's going on. Defense seems shaky while all of the forwards seem to have gone cold....Wood hasn't scored a goal in God knows how long, Sanford 1 in his last 7, and Calnan has been MIA all season (though I imagine due to nagging injuries). Hope they got it together this week in practice.

Wood scored twice against NU.

With the Saturday 9pm final my enthusiasm for attending the Friday semi's diminished. Wanted to go to all the Worcester regional games. But a 9pm final on Saturday killed that idea. Therefore I will not attend in Worcester. A 4:30pm or 7pm Saturday final start and I would have attended.

Warning to those going to Worcester. Try to avoid the garage next to the arena. Attended the BC vs. UMass-Lowell Northeast Regional final a couple of years ago and it took 50 minutes to get out of the garage. I suspect that this will occur again on Saturday as well, unless the garage has it's act together.

Fun fact, I once saw a used condom on the ground in that garage. Reminds me of all the good times I had in Worcester.

They have any number of outdoor lots near adjacent buildings that are cheap and easy to get in and out of. The one kitty corner from Bowditch & Dewey is convenient and easy. Used it for the Regional a few years back

So much for finally being healthy. Apparently Gaudreau hasn't been practicing all week and likely won't play.

I'd expect we go 5 D and have Dots back up front. I think as long as no one's gassed, we probably roll 3 lines anyway.

tv timeouts certainly help them shorten the bench

it all goes back to the d, if this is anything like a week ago this will be another quick one and done

the fighting nospaces are getting dickstomped by nodak

Exactly this. If the defense is awful tonight we'll be done by about 10:30

Disagree. If the offense doesn't score, BC will lose this game.

well that was certainly a 180, defense was much tighter. kim and mccoshen were very solid

interesting with gaudreau out they loaded up the first line for i believe the first time all year. tuch showed why at times he can be frustrating, he could've had several more as well.

wood is a scary player when he gets moving

It was fun listening to them rave about BC's D comparing them to the top D's in the country, but noting "they have all that firepower too." Last night, I guess I could see it. But that D (other than Demko, who is a rock) could go to shit at any time. Though Kim played really well, and McCoshen was all over the top (and only) line of Harvard.

That was a sound 53 minutes of effort and 7 absolutely shitastic play by the Eagles. Thank God Cango was there to bail Demko out at the end.

Lowell better beat Quinnipiac. Don't like the idea of our college squad going up against a bunch of mid-life crisis semi-pros who decided to go to college in Connecticut once they couldn't get major league tryouts
