Notre Dame

ND comes in having won three in a row, including a solid sweep of UMass at home. They were stomped by Harvard 4-1 in South Bend the weekend prior in the Shillelagh Tournament. They've been up and down, having swept UConn besides UMass, but not having a signature win at this point. Then again, neither does BC, really.

BC wins, and they're tied with Lowell for 1st place in HEA. ND would jump ahead of us to second place if they win.

Let's see how many people show up for the Thursday night tilt. Hopefully the Sully from Southie fans are better than the few from NU that showed up on Saturday. I shut up a tool (wearing hideous tinted glasses) when I reminded him that he was gloating about winning a shouting match with the ten-year old sitting in his row.

Is BC ever going to beat Notre Dame at anything ever again?

I went to ND Nation because that place is hilarious. We seem to have really bolstered their faith in their team.

However, it should be pointed out that they do have a really good record against us lately, which sucks.

That game sucked, but ND's style is like watching paint dry. With three of our biggest guys out, we were not hitting much and mostly rolling two lines - plays right into the hands of a trap and dump team like ND. If we get healthy and can get our D to settle down after the break (we usually are a better second half team), we can beat them in the next meeting.

im not too concerned about us. were really good. only issues as the season goes are injuries and do freshman hit a wall // players hit a cold streak.

if not, well be in the final 8 and probably the frozen four.

nice way to go into the beanpot off probably the best win of the year.

heading in 1-5 in last 6 vs nd and probably about the same record out there. younger fitz came back from a concussion and santini back after leaving uconn with an upper body injury.

interesting in HE standings this year, can't remember it being so top heavy

7 point separation between the #5 team BU at 19 points & the #6 team UVM

Never really looked until tonight, the Compton Family Center is beautiful. Great set-up and perfect size for college hockey (I think they even have a separate practice rink and weight room too). If space allowed, BC should absolutely look into something like this while converting conte to a smaller, bball only arena. If any sport deserves it, it's this

yup, it's very well done too. we'd probably want it a little larger than 5k (smaller than current 7884)

if :81 was still here, maybe he could allocate some of those gasson level $$s to a new rink

This team just commits way too many penalties.

Yep. 4th in the country coming into the game, according to the announcers. Still doing better than most expected, though.

6,500 would be a good size for our crowd.

They would be an easy FF team without all these penalties.

With 13 freshmen, I wouldn't go that far. Tourney locks, sure.

This team is super talented I don't care what year they are.

Sadly they spend about 1/3 of the game in the penalty box.
