For the 99% of you that weren't at the game...

BC had a 2-0 lead, and Demko played the first. The freshman, Birdsall, played the rest of the game. He got lit up for five goals in the second. Some his fault, some the D left him out to dry.

BC has nine freshmen on the team, and they were not ready for the size of New Brunswick and the speed of the game. New Brunswick's players are between 21 and 25 years old, I believe this was their 4th game, they returned most of the team that went to their championship last year and they beat the AHL's Portland Pirates on Friday.

We'll be fine.

I think we should mention that Matheson plays for th AHL team UNB beat. So Epstein can blame him for everything one last time.

So sounds like Demko is good to go for this Friday?

Oh and for whoever went, any solid line/D combinations? Did Jerry mix it up or did he set a lineup for most of the game?

I read it in small doses, like I do the Island of Misfit Posters. It's like not being able to tear your eyes away from a trainwreck. With an element of schadenfreude mixed in. And I also think it is a byproduct of the paucity of good reading on BC sports.
