Corey Griffin Dies

Postby gallopingghost on Sun Aug 17, 2014 11:18 am

Corey Griffin was pulled from the water after apparently diving from a local establishment, “Juice Guys,” located at 44 Straight Wharf, police told The Cape Cod Times. He was reported missing around 2 a.m.

Corey’s father, Robert Griffin, told The Boston Globe his son called him Friday night to tell him he had raised $100,000 to fight ALS in honor of his friend, Pete Frates. Frates’s struggle with the disease has turned the Ice Bucket Challenge into a viral sensation

I'd like to think I pay pretty close attention to BC hockey, but I've never heard of this player until now.

Still terrible that he died, but was he really a former BC hockey player?

He was on the team as a freshman and then finished his final 3 seasons at Babson.
