BC vs Lowell, home and home series

We're in the home stretch with only 3 regular season games left.

Driving to Lowell Saturday will be a piece of cake after long drives to Burlington and Orono this season.

Trophy season time and the pedal to the metal so to speak )

Only bad news was Mike Matheson was injured over the weekend.

Happy the game at Lowell is a Saturday and won't need to brave the Friday traffic.

I wouldn't hold my breath on Matheson this weekend.

BC doesn't have a ton to play for there's no reason he should be out there

Tickets are sold out for Saturday's game at the Tsongas. Look for boring hockey from UML as they cannot run and gun with BC.

I'll ask around

Very matter of fact win. The kill of the BS 5 min call on Macleod seemed to get them going.

That first goal by Johnny was ridiculous

Not sure why Matt gaudreau played over destry, interesting

If you have the chance watch Demko during breaks, to say he's calm back there is an understatement

Demko made a lot of his saves look easy. Geez the team is looking pretty good. Love to see a healthy Matheson and Macleod not run off for some dumb excuse.

The officiating was terrible. Captain Pump-Fake Sullivan took about 5 minutes to drop the puck.

We gifted them that tie, can't retaliate to UML's dirty play

The updates to the tsongas center were really well done. Apparently with standing room they went 1k over capacity and it felt like it, the concourses were absolutely jammed.

Believe I've seen it reported so it's public knowledge but Matheson has a concussion, his second in 2 years here. The benefit is we have 1 game over the next 20 days so he's got time.

As for last night, odd game. Put up a ton of shots but with the way UMLOL plays, very few transition opportunities and odd man rushes. Several pucks danced behind Carr & on the goal line but didn't go in.

It's been a year long trend but for a team with so much speed, talent, etc BC gets few powerplays. Only 1 last night (converted on it) and the fewest in HE.

Obviously would prefer for when it matters but I would love to see BC sport a full roster with Linell up front.

One of the larger stories was Destry being benched this weekend and Matt Gaudreau getting time thought he looked good but if they can move LInell back up, a line of Silk-Calnan-Gilmour is a pain in the ass to play against.

Think there is a clear drop off between NU/UML and everyone else in this conf.
