Looks like it'll be Demko in net Friday night. I think he's pulled ahead of Billet but I don't mind keeping the rotation going. I also question how much we're going to learn about Billet if his next two games are vs. Army & vs. UMass.

He hit on Santini, I noticed it on Friday as well, very impressive. Really brings a physical presence that this team has been missing.

At this point, I think it's probably more about not wearing out Demko than giving Billet his turn. Unless something drastic happens, I expect Demko to be the guy.

This team could be unstoppable in 2 months. I've only seen 3 games, but it's just a matter of time. While they are figuring it out, split the goalie time.

Believe game disqualification = 1 game suspension, and 3 game misconducts = 1 game suspension. IIRC Matheson had 2 misconducts last year so he was close for the last month of the season to missing a game but never got the 3rd

What a delightful ass beating to visit upon the academically inferior end of Comm Ave. I sincerely hope we are watching the end of BU as a viable hockey power--that is perhaps too much to extrapolate to after one game, but the trend line has been in place since the fluke at the Verizon Center.

Best game BC has played at that place in a long time, especially impressive considering their absurd 10-3-1 or whatever record at the house that York built

Solid all around, no better stat than BU had 6 even strength shots all game. 5x5 they simply couldn't handle us.

Btw it's Demkos job, Even bu's lone goal was reminiscent of that byllshit in 2009

Demko is unbelievable. The only weaknesses we seemed to have were some mental errors on defense and stupid penalties. The longer the season goes on the less you'll see of that, and I don't think anyone will match up favorably to us.

Goal by goal of last night, including the BU announcers laughing at how unfair gaudreau is

I think on Sunday, Barone should start and anyone else who has been sitting out like Doherty. I have a feeling some players will be padding their stats at the expense of Army.

Maybe Doherty will play then, is he in the doghouse or something ? Must have scheduled Army out of courtesy for them and based on what BC looked like last year when they weren't playing all that well in the 2nd half of last year.

No reason to assume it was intentional but was extremely dumb and subsequently scary.

Army kid was skating from right to left in transition in bc's zone (presumably with his head down as he never saw Santini coming) Santini comes from right D spot and unloads on the kid high. Pretty scary as he was laying motionless on the ice and each team instantly waved for medical, he didn't move for a solid minute +
